Geet's mind was all over the place, she was tired of being cooped up in the house doing the same thing every day. Maan didn't stay in the house, and she wanted to spend as much as time with him possible. She knew she had promised that she wouldn't put any rights on him unless he himself took the initiative; however, she can still be with him as his shadow no; the thoughts that ran through her mind.
Geet continued to be in deep thought trying to figure how she can always be around Maan, but at the same time stay out of his sight? She knew he had given her the respect of being his wife after the NT fiasco, but she knew that he still did not feel anything towards her yet; the way he still distanced himself from her, the way he thanked he for saving the family from the clutches of NT. He announced Geet to be his wife, BUT at the same time he turned her into a stranger.
While Geet was busy lost in her own world, Lucky wandered into the kitchen looking for his Geet didi..
Lucky-Geet didi! Geet Didiā¦..
As he made his way into the kitchen he saw his cousin lost, but at the same time continued to do her workā¦
Lucky-Didi..
Geet responds-hmm
Lucky-Biji had called, there is a boy coming to see Nandani
Geet-hmmā¦..
Lucky-theek hainaā¦.aap please kuch acha bananaā¦.
Lucky walked away not realizing that Geet had not heard a thing Lucky had said.
Geet snapping out of her reverie-Aray ha Lucky Veerji what were you saying?
She turned to see that he was no longer behind herā¦.she ignored the thought as she felt that Lucky usually never had anything important to say any way so the issue was brushed off.
Geet-babaji kuch karo naā¦..main aapki pyari beti hoon na? Then do whatever it takes, that will allow me to stay close to my maan
She smiled back up to her babaji with a never ending streak of positivity.
***Break***
Jugnu mamay had been sitting idle looking to do some snooping around in his usual detective work around the house. He carried his magnifying glass walking around the halls of Khurana Mansion to either mess up, or accidently solve something. While he walked, his path stopped by Nandani's room in which he heard giggles coming from; Nandani was in her room talking to someone over the phone.
Nandani-I missed you soo soo soo much; I cannot wait until I see you!! What time shall you come over?
Jugnu brought his ears closer as his eyes widened hearing his niece flirting on the phone with someone! He looked here and there and noticed Dev coming and so he ran towards Dev to tell him about Nandani and her hidden boyfriend.
Dev was trying to go to Nandani to speak with her when he was interrupted by Mamaji.
Drunk Maama-Nandani is flirting with someone on the phoneā¦.
Dev in disbelief-What are you saying mamaji, Nandani and boyfriend? You are impossible; do you even know what you are saying?
Mamaji dragged Dev by Nandani's window again, so Dev too can hear the conversation.
***Break***
After Geet was done making Maan's favorite Continental dinner, she went back into her room to see if her Butler had finished cleaning her room well. As she walked into her room she noticed the place looked very tidy, BUT realized that the important file Maan had given to her was not on her table. She frantically began to search for the file everywhere in her room, when she realized she told the butler to get rid of all of the files.
Geet-Hey Babajiā¦.what did I do! He gave me one file to take care of, he trusted me to keep that file safe and I lost it.
Suddenly her butler knocked onto the door and told her that Maan had called her to his room. Geet closed her eyes freaking out, as she was scared that he might ask her for the file! She started to walk to his room, her dupatta wringling in her fingers she had become a nervous wreck!
Maan was in his room walking restless with questions in his eyes stillā¦..Geet arrived by the door scared slowly knocked on the door.
Geet-aap ne mujhay bulaya?
Maan-Ha geet, mujhay tumse ek sawal pooncha na haiā¦.
Geet nodded her head, but now had gotten very confusedā¦and Maan motioned her to come in his roomā¦..
Maan-I always heard Daadi and Dev telling me about you and our relationshipā¦..I want to hear it from you. How did we meet?
Geet looked up at Maan in shock, she had no words to answer his question. He wanted to know they first time they met? Why now?? Where do I begin?
Geet looked up at him confused trying to think how she should begin the answer his question.
Maan looked at Geet trying to read her silence, he had no memory of her in his mind, BUT for some reason every time he looked at her eyes he felt connected to them; he felt her eyes always spoke to him even if she didn't verbally speak her eyes always did the talking for her. Finally he removed his eyes from hers trying not to get distracted.
Maan-Why are you so quiet? I have not asked a hard question, this should be something you should be able to answer in a minute
Geet thought to herself in her mindā¦"why am I being scared to talk to Maan; since when did she start to fear him"? He wants an answer, I shall answer for himā¦my wayā¦.
Geet in her mind-geet, no need to be scaredā¦..he is asking you how you metā¦..this is something you would have never expect this Dusht Danav to do! I think this would be the best time to talk with him from the heartā¦.perhaps he may hit off a memoryā¦..
Geet-Our first meeting was something very unique (as she smiled remembering the moments) do u remember the fairytale I told you when we got stuck at that hotel? That was OUR story Maan!
I was just a girl like any other from a small town (Flashes of her family came to her mind eyes got teary) one day I was running away from some goons I bumped into you (a smile formed, she looked at Maan straight in the eye) instead of helping me from them you had pushed me away, (dazing off) but the moment I had landed in a body of water drowning you came as a knight in a shining armor and you saved my life.
Maan listened to Geet as he saw her every change of expression on her face as he felt her every emotion; he smiling, laughing a little, then getting teary eyed, then blushing. He was awed at the beautiful emotions this woman was able to portray.
As Geet described the water scene Maan once again saw a flashback of the water scene still in a blur, but at least he was now sure that memory lapse he had was indeed connected to Geet.
Geet continuedā¦ever since that day we met, God always ended bringing us back on the same pathsā¦.we were differentā¦.and yet every time I met you I learned something newā¦..even though your words were bitter (she laughed a little as her eyes were red and wet) they held so much meaningā¦.that every sentence you spoke I took it as inspiration. You were only a stranger and yet you not only came as my savior BUT you indirectly woke up a fighter in me.
Maan interrupts-I was an inspiration? You became a fighter, waitā¦.I thought we met in delhiā¦.where did we meet exactlyā¦.how did you end up working in Delhiā¦ā¦questions ran in his mindā¦.and he became overwhelmed in them!
Geet looked at him confused as to what else to tell himā¦..he had no memory of HPā¦..of what circumstances he had saved her from (scene of Brij trying to kill herā¦ā¦Fake marriageā¦..pregnancy fightā¦.then going to delhi)
Geet left shocked and nervous as to what else to say to Maan, and how she could avoid further detailsā¦.she wanted to leave her pastā¦..why was she being pulled back into the same past she had walked away from.
