Hello Maneetians/Gurtis,

I only watch Geet, usually online. We finally started to subscribe to Indian channels, so my questions is what are some other shows that i can watch.
Now I do not like saas-bahu sagas, or shows degrading women. I believe in women empower. U know my choice since i'm a maneetian. Something that has comedy, romance, family drama etc.
Please just name of the show, no need to go into detail. Much obliged.

'Bade achhe lagte hain' on SONY also a nice one (Though pls don't compare with GHSP) inspite of some typical Hindi serial characters. Main leads' relationship is quite interesting to watch.

For A Very Long Time Now All I Have Done Is Eat, Sleep And Breathe GHSP...
Actually Can't Imagine My Life Without Maneet/Gurti...
Been Trying To Find A Replacement For Ages.. Have Finally Decided To Watch Star Plus's Diya Aur Baati Hum...

Drama About A Girls Dream To Become A IPS Officer But She Gets Married... And It's About Her Relationship Between Her Husband And Her Struggle To Keep Her Dream Alive... The Main Argument Being That Should A Woman Have To Leave Her Dreams Behind When She Gets Married...
It's A Controversial Topic... There Have Only Been Three Episodes.. They Haven't Got Married Yet... So It's Still Early Days...

I Totally Understand Where You Are Coming From... Hate The Same Old Saas Bahu Stories... But If Your Looking For A Drama About Women Empowerment I Suggest..(Suggestions Given To Me By My Bhabi)

Maryaada Lekin Kab Tak?, Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya or Maykee Se Bandi...Dor

They Are All Dramas With Very Powerful Female Roles.. And There Struggles Trying To Live In A Man's World... ( I Don't Watch Them But She Said They Are Quiet Good)

Anyway I Know That Nothing Will Ever Replace Geet Hui Sabsa Parayi... But We All Knew This Day Would Come, One Day...

Anyway Hope That Helped... Love Simi x x x

I also don't like to watch saas-bahu dramas. But a few other shows I like are

Maryada on star plus

Preeto on Imagine (Its a sweet love story of a middle class family shows nice family bonding)

Balika Vadhu (watch it sometimes)

Mukti Bandhan on Colours

But from all my most fav is GHSP only
