I realise by now how big a phenomena Maneet have become. The fact that Drashti and Gurmeet play no role in this is the most ironic of it all.

Yes - I'm talking about Maan and Geet as characters. The myriad of FFs and stories, thoughts and vignettes that have erupted from this love sensation is mind blowing!

So then when one turns to the TV screen at 9:30pm , one does so with a heightened sense of emotions and feelings - connecting with the couple way more than some might,

And it was with the same feelings that I tuned in to SO.

The show started with Geet in her dilemma. Even though Geet was portrayed as the scared sehmi hui Geet of yore - I fail to believe that she didn't realize that NT could be up to no good - and she does try to get to Maan and tell him the problem.

But what struck me and amused me was how NT shadowed her through out the day - Miss Stalker much??

OK - coming to the dislikes - I Hate That Song!! But what the heck is it about Maneet that makes me concentrate on the lyrics , when I zone out on the tune!! Unbelievable,huh!!

The dance was beautiful and surprisingly serene and the culmination was a foregone conclusion, na!

So all in all the M E for a change had some brilliant stuff - the only bit I didn't enjoy was the Gurti lip sync during the song!

Doubts:

- Does NT get Maan's share of the money or did Geet actually switch the 1st sheet of the paper?

-Did Maan never realize that Geet was the major shareholder?

-will Jugnu Jasoos get her signatures for some crazy ulterior motive?

All in all the epi was mindblowing and I loved it!

watz up guys...for the last 2-3 days i am not being able to find the thread...this week has been awesome...then y no threads...nywyz how can i not reserve for my maan's bday...
so far the MEs hv been extremely disappointing...although i dont hv any high hopes this time too but since it is my maan's bday...so that is reason enuf to make this ME the most special one...

oh y...oh y cant for once ME focusses only on maaneet and noone else...i cant believe it...this is the 3rd time mamaji took away so much screen space...i hate this character from the bottom of my heart...

but the dance and the wedding photo display were two golden moments of the epi...expressions of gurti were awesome...
the photos still failed to hv any effect on maan...but unlike the conference room here maan was calm because he now knows the truth behind the photos...i especially loved DD's expression here...she had such longing in her eyes...she so wanted to enjoy the moment with maan...it was maan's first bday after marriage but geet cudnt enjoy a single moment because of NT who arrived by her side at every moment...

from maan's expression it was very clear that thruout the day he was aware that geet is worried about something...i thot there wud be a scene where maan wud ask geet about it...i dunno y they did not show any such scene when maan's eyes were clearly portraying that he knows that geet is worried...i really missed one such scene...after all maan's brain has forgotten geet...but love for geet still exists in his heart...

and the dance...it was beauuutifully done...i liked how they started off with dancing with other partners but both of them had their eyes on each other...then they came in front of each other...i liked that geet's hesitation and maan taking the initiative...the way he held her hand and put his other hand on her waist...there was a kind of passion and right of a husband although his eyes still portray non-recognition...but somehow his touch spoke a different language today...and geet cud feel it too...the tears that dropped from her eyes the moment maan touched her was spontaneous and very real too...it was tears of the suppressed tension that she is facing the entire day because of nandini...also i felt geet at that moment wanted maan to hug her to assure her that everything will be alrite...and so one touch of maan brought out the tears that she was holding back for so long...wat makes maaneet dance scenes a treat to watch is that they never lose eye contact which is very essential in a couple dance...

and i also liked that scene where ppl were gving gifts to maan but maaneet were looking at each other...that time it was very clear from maan's expression that he cud tell geet was disturbed...

the last scene which is the climax was badly executed...it was a total downer...first of all how can a shrewd lady like NT starts blabbering in the middle of the party that she has khurana property in her name...obviously everyone wud hear her...
and finally maan's expression wen dev told that maan has made geet the owner of everything some months back...i dont understand y maan's expression was totally blank...i thot he wud be surprised but he acted as if knows everything...

something must be missing here which i did not catch up...any other actor i wud hv thot he cudnt gv the right expression...but GC we all know is a flawless actor...so, i hv noone to blame except the director...i am sure he did not explain the scene to GC...i was totally disappointed with his expression because for so many weeks i was looking forward to this scene where maan wud learn about geet's ownership...
nywyz i am hoping they will repeat the scene in maanday's epi and we will get to see a proper expression of maan...

in a hurry to expose NT in one single epi they put in some silly scenes...mamaji was luking for geet i guess then y did he enter dev's room...secondly how can NT casually throw away the phone on the bed and leave wen today is a day she cannot afford to stay from her phn...the entire NT scheme was inefficiently executed...no doubt the track was inserted only to make it known to maan that geet owns everything...

another one scene i wud like to mention which was like an icing on today's epi...the scene where geet gv maan the property papers to sign and maan instantly took it and began to sign and wen geet told him to read the papers...he very casually said that if she has read then he need not read...it was said very casually but it proved the trust he has on her although he doesnt recognise her as his wife...these small scenes show how his heart takes over widout his conscious effort...

the first scene which i forgot to mention...where geet was falling from her bed and maan held her back...i somehow felt it was a scene which depicted geet's life is unbalanced widout maan and maan even if he accepts her or not but will always be there to save her from any difficult situation...

nywyz...in all this week was superb and i am hoping next week will be equally gud...
