See I understand where you are coming from...but the big difference in earlier MSK and post ML MSK is...this time its not a random office employee...everybody has been telling him he has got married to this woman. He need no accept her...nobody is forcing them into a room...as we have seen geet maan are having different bedrooms...everybody knows status quo.
Him not wanting to do teej ritual is also okay. he could have said that in private.
He had MU about Geet not giving adi's msg...he could have asked geet in private.
Earlier Msk would not use words like zaleel etc for a woman..even a random woman.
And this is a woman holding the status of his wife. Dont accpet her...need not even talk.
But he never had a business treating her harshly with wuch words in public...because he may not remember anything but he had been told who she is..atleast in front of everybody he can keep her dignity. Earlier Maan used to put the duppatta( mark of a womans honour) on Geet even if he is angry with her. He never used to dishonour her.So comparing both is very different.
