You become a Mod after awhile if you do your job well as a viewbie.

It is nice.. but it does take a lot of effort, time, and dedication too.

Viewbies help out moderators. They have some basic rights so they can deal with the topics and/or intervene when something seems to be going wrong.

And if you perform well as a Viewebie you are then promoted to a Moderator.
