Hello all

As Hima dii wanted me to make a post on teej celebrations...here i am opening a new topic on teej...Hima dii predicted that teej will be shown in ghsp..which i m dreaming since the day i celebrated teej this year..

Teej is celebrated in the month of sawaan (hindi calendar month) sometime around july or august..mostly august month...

Its a celebration ceremony for all women and gals...who on the eve of teej have mehndi in their hands..whether they are married or unmarried...

and specially for newly weds...the first year of teej is celebrated at their mother s place..but as time changed..people these days are celebrating at their in laws place also...

people can have fast also...depends...and if fasting is done toh pooja toh honi hi hai..

and the main part of teej is jhulla jhoolna...swing...all ladies get ready..dance nach gaana...sab fun hotha hai..we welcome the monsoon...the rain...

Its a get together...where all ladies join hands and celebrate and later accompanied by men..😃

thanks for the post
so now geet will jhula julo and maan will keep staring at her dance and enjoy...but in the show if they are showing teej today then kal ke episode mein geet was drinking something wen with dadi and she sat on dining table duing breakfast also..???😕 cvs ki maya woh hi jane..lol

i don't have much idea about this festival...since bongs don't have this festival...

reni..in my family..we dont do fasting...

and i m wondering will cvs really show teej celebrations ????

cvs pe bharosa nahi hai mujhe...but after reading hima di s post...i m sure cvs are definitely upto some celebrations and i really hope its teej...

var anytime re...i wanted to know abt this festival so i told u to open this post...i hope if cvs are showing geet celebrating festival then it should be done properly without nay loopholes na...i think she should fast..use se husband ka umar lamba hota hai ya 7 janam mein same hubby milta hai kya...???i ma hinting at reincarnation track..lol

we too have a somewhat similar festival in Maharashtra, it is in combination with pooja of Naagdevata..called naagpanchami...where all the girls whether married unmarried have mehendi and all ...and then gather together and play games etc from evening to late night...it is the beginning and welcome of upcoming season of festivals...

It will be a treat to watch Maaneet celebrating Teej...Geet having mehandi...and Maan falling for beauty of his wife...mahiii...something similar is there in todays episode as well..😍

logically dekha jaaye toh...cvs showed karwa chouth...and karva chouth is celebrated few days before diwali every year..

and now teej,...

paatha nahi...waise dikhaaye toh bhadiya hai..😃

kee pharak painda hai...😆 😆

and dii..humare ghar pe hum fasting vrath sab nahi rakhthey...marr jaayenge fastin rakh rakh ke 😆 and i dont think so ghsp mein bhi fastin sab dikhaayenge

hima dii ki post ne mujhe hope de diya ki teej wil be celebrated...😃

reni.. that is karva chouth...which cvs has already shown...

and fasting...very few ppl fast reni...

so i dont think so fasting wil be shown

and if u speakin abt loop holes...karva chouth is celebrated few days b4 diwali and cvs had shown karva chouth earlier itself...

u urself imagine now..

Humare yahan par bhi nagpanchami manathey hai...shayad ussey hi teej kehthey hai..but we dont do pooja on nagpanchami..its just like any other day i guess.. me not sure
