And I came up with this. 😃
Its a WONDERFUL show. Probably the BEST hindi show I have ever watched...and i've watched sooo many (easily over 40) lol.
The reason why I love it?
To me, television shows have never been about watching my favorite couple together, or crushing on the hero. As an audience member, what draws me most, is the quality of the story.
1. Television shows are not just about ratings and money. Networks see the business side of it. The audience sees the artistic side of it. Money and ratings come and go, but what stays is the actual product itself. PH's make History EVERY TIME they make a show. They are putting something out into the world, and it will be forever preserved in that light.
4LIONS gets this. They understand that their job- its not to get ratings for the network (although thats important😊), its to create a show with written-integrity.
One that actors will WANT to work on. One that writers love to write. It shouldn't be just a job for the people involved in the creative aspects, it should be their passion.
2. GHSP was the first show I ever watched that portrayed an actual healthy, loving relationship. Shows have portrayed healthy marriages (but those usually have very little love and are more based on a "samjhota" than actual love. And usually the hero is in love with someone else, and only married the heroine because he was forced. Shows have portrayed romantic relationships, but those RARELY, if ever, end up in the leads married to each other- and if they do get married, they don't stay married.
** SARCASM ALERT** 😃How lovely eh??? Now thats a story worth watching...lol. Every little girl should watch shows like that when they come home from school, and they should learn that love is about having to put up with crap.
BACK TO NORMAL👏--- Sarcasm over😆
3. The audience is constantly worried 😕 (pins and needles type situation) about how and when the hero and heroine will get separated.
Not In GHSP👏⭐️.
The very feel of the show is different. You know they will come together. And even when apart, they worry and care for one another. She's pregnant with another man's child, but he's worried about her getting sick.
Their love does not fade or alter, like ever. And definitely not because of some sautan-like 3rd party's antics. The longevity of their relationship rests solely in their hands.
4. GHSP also has one of the strongest female characters I have every come across. She has a will of iron. When Maan needs to informed about something (whether its her pregnancy, his brother's truth, or blood donation) Geet does it. She gets all dolled up😆 (gotta love her), holds his hands, looks straight at him, and just says what needs to be said. I LOVE that part of this show. Sooo sweet and ...just WOW.
5. If it were some other PH, the hero would have been Dev's character, not Maan's. Normally Maan (the brother the heroine picked) would have been portrayed as the "one she somehow ended up with, and is now happy with" (that would of course be said in a weird defensive tone). She and Dev would have shared constant longing looks, because he was, her "first" after-all. What bakwas. In GHSP the heroine fell in love with the boy deserving of her and her love.
6. If it were any other show, the heroine would still be in constant contact with the family that decided to let her be killed. She would have been reuinited with all of them by now, and living happily in and around them. Yes, there was a reconciliation between her and Darjee, but forgiveness is healthy and its a part of life. Geet didn't forget, and she never will. It was a show with an actual (yet subtle) social message. It literally spelled out to girls and women what love should look like, what it should feel like.
I have SOOO many more reasons ⭐️👏...but yeah. These are just a few. So I ask all of you now,
How Much Do You Love GHSP, and why??
😆😆😆
