Hey All,
I know there has been lots of speculation about whether 4lions is actually considering a reincarnation track. I have also read a lot of posts about "reincarnation means, Geet on air" -- I have to disagree⭐️👏.. Bare with me..😉
My defence of my position: ⭐️
I have a problem with the reincarnation track because it destroys the romance. It kills Maan and Geet, and the life they've built together.
I'm not saying I don't want Geet to continue. I Do. So bad😆
All I am saying is, why can't we just have a Season 2? (Someone posted about this, and i just love this idea) Why can't they end this with Maan and Geet happy, alive, and together?
The 2nd Season could start with a whole new track, and new supporting cast, just like it would post-reincarnation. Difference being, Maan and Geet would be happy and together. Not apart, and in pain.
A 2nd Season would also mean that both DD and GC would get to work as different characters. They would also get a little change. We wouldn't want either one of them to get restless 😃. That would definitely suck.
And also, lets say the reincarnation track happens. What then? The both of them are drawn to each other because of memories from another life? I would much rather them fall in love despite all the disastrous circumstances pushing them apart, just like it happened from day 1 in Geet.
A reincarnation track for Geet would destory the very premise of the show. They may have had a bit of a love-hate dynamic, they may have been separated here and there, but at the heart of their romance is that they have an actual relationship. They are together. Tearing them apart (by Killing them) is needless, and a little heartless. GHSP is a very different story. Reincarnation tracks work in other shows. But it won't here, I'm pretty sure.
Geet is not a show where each lead marries another random stranger, and then stares longingly at the other lead until the show ends. At which point,they both die tragically, their fingers stretched out just so. Spare me, please. 🤢
The only difference between a reincarnation track and a second season is that in a reincarnation track the characters have to die. I'm not at all sold on the idea. Of course, if its reincarnation or no Geet, them I'm forced to choose the former. But you get my drift.
What say all? Think a second season is a possibility?
