Darling, I have this hunch Maan will stop drowning in the abyss when he is challenged to think and fight like a Man and this opportunity will be provided by Naintara who would in a few episodes from now challenge him to accelerate Geet's fall. Geet only evokes in him hatred, traditional ties, old fashioned women attitude and perhaps even he would have mistakenly transferred that dark past of sameera and attributed that darkness on Geet. The physical world cannot change unless there is a challenge in the open.

As for Daadi and Dev constantly reminding Maan of Geet, perhaps it helps to revisit his subconscious niches that have taken a detrack. They just want to support Geet and open what they feel is the honey truth about Geet. That really has an effect on him since he tries hard to remember. And he would not take drastic action since she is so very favoured by all who know her. He will not be cruel to her since he sees the support she gets from family and core office staff.
