Hi friends.
Since the ML track has started there have been several posts as to whether MSK is actually suffering fro Selective ML or is he faking it. If he is faking it then why is he doing so (a big twist as per CA, whom I don't believe now a days). I too was of two minds. Some actions of MSK made me believe he was faking it and at other times I found it to be genuine.
The main thing that affects almost all of us is that he is extra rude to Geet this time round than he was in the beginning when Geet had joined KC on her arrival from HP. what struck me was this:
initially MSK did know Geet as he had met her in HP although he was under a misconception as to the reason why she left HP and came to Delhi. But in the present scenario she is a total stranger. Admittedly she had saved his life but for a man like MSK it is difficult to digest that just for saving his life Geet is treated like a VIP in his own home (or should I say kingdom) by his Dadi and Dev also. Not only that but she has two others living in his home whom he c an't stand.
This is not all. We should not forget the fact that he is back in a period of time when he used to think that girls are gold-diggers. Si obviously he will consider Geet's 'chipku' attitude as indication that she wants the maximum out of the Khurrana's for saving his life.
Another fact which struck me is the difference in Geet's attitude to MSK. no doubt after being married to him and loving him so madly she thinks she has every right to hold his hand, even come close to him...etc, etc. The old Geet would have kept him at arm's length and given it back to him. this Geet loves him so much that she tolerates all his atrocities and still sticks to him. This is another annoying factor for him and one which makes him act more harshly towards her.
Guys don't know if I have made myself clear but this is what I feel could be the reason behind Maan being worse now than he was before.
So lets hope these are the reasons and that the ML is for real. because I don't think if he was faking it he would be so cruel to his Geet. No reason whatsoever would be good enough to justify such an atrocious behaviour. So much so that her tears also don't move him. That's just not Geet's Maan. My conclusion therefore is that the ML is real. As for CA saying that there is a big twist to the ML thing...let's hope it is a twist in the treatment of the story and not that MSK is faking it.
