I am back again with my lamba chauda post... 😆😆😆😆😆
16th June 2010 i had made one such post thanking GHSP forum and had promised , rather threathened that ppl will hv to suffer one more of a long post from me... 😆😆😆😆😆😆😆... so here i am to torture u all with my love for GHSP, GC, DD, Forum members and ofcourse the forum
I know some of u have already read this bakbak at that post which i opened on 16th June... please bear with me... i will do thoda repeat bak bak for those who havent read that post...
I started watching Geet from day 1 (April 5, 2010) as it featured Drashti Dhami and i had loved her in DMG... but in may i went for 15 day vacation and when i came back i cudnt relate much to the story... so one day while in office (sometime in mid june 2010) i was trying to figure out how to catch up with the story and i found starone site and also IF... but i prefered to go to SO then as i dint want to be on forums..(ok i was very very non net savvy when it came to all this... i nvr had used Youtube also till June 2010... 😆😆😆😆😆)
I caught up with videos at Star player ...while checking SO site, I read the profiles of the cast and the crew and what i read blew my mind... i just cudnt believe that Maan was being played by Gurmeet Choudhary... the same Gurmeet who played Ram and who featured in PPAW... it took me like 4 days to digest that its the same Gurmeet... once I had digested that, my respect for Gurmeet as an actor zoomed tremendously... what he did to MSK was phenomenal... to get out of the image of Ram and essay Maan was brilliant... as for Drashti i started falling more in love with her as an actress...In DMG we got to see just the whacky side of her... the fun side... but in Geet, i was blown by her expressions, innocence... what surprised me was that the gal is quite a go getter, party, fun types and yet managed to look sooo innocent... well aise hi Star player and SO dekhte dekhte i was trying to read more on Gurmeet and Drashti and I came across India-Forums again while searching on Google...initailly i wasnt interested in clicking on forums to read it...but eventually i did coz i wanted to read bout the guy who so successfully has changed his image and was essaying maan...
Then bang... i open India-Forums on June 28th for the first time in my life... i read thru all the actor profiles and various buzz articles... i started visiting or rather stalking Geet Forum... mind u i dint hv an id yet... i was just a unregistered user visiting the IF... official stalker... 😆😆😆😆
I started visiting the forum daily and came across many posts written by people, started reading the live updates by Tanu (Armu4eva) as i used to be in office many times when the serial used to air... I loved reading Bugger's post...she was so funny... I used to love visiting the dialogue posts opened by adits7... i used to love her emoticons...
Yeh silsila july 21st tak chala... i fell more and more in love with IF and all credit to just GHSP forum or rather to GHSP and its track and the funny forum members here... i read bugger's post on july 21st and cudnt resist anymore... created an id... but i was very skeptical to post but nonetheless i did on 22nd July in the morning... and i received a very warm welcome by all on that thread... specially by these ppl... 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
and then visited the written update by md410(arpita's) for July 21st
i became a regular writing at Bugger's thread and adits7 thread and also started reading and commenting on few FFs... also used to read geetu's heart versus head posts on MSK...
Bugger changed her thread to devil's den and yeah i too was instrumental in giving devil's den its name... i cudnt believe it that i had joined just a 3 days ago n i already felt at home at IF...
Special mention to Arwen - my first ever IF buddy... she welcomed me to IF with open arms and became my first IF buddy... the first ever to PM me... thanks Arwen... 🤗
In a week's time i was addicted to IF... i kept spamming left, right and centre...
The dance promo which was aired on all star channels except SO... on July 26th... the written update for it was my first proper individual post at IF... shockingly i was the only one to hv seen that promo for 1 whole day... 😆😆😆😆
Then what happened at IF is history... i became very regular in writing takes... chit chatting across the forum... in short i was busy making my presence felt... newbie to groupbie to senior member to goldie... all happened in a matter of 1 month... By end august I was a goldie and continued spamming... and ofcourse making friends on the way... GHSP forum gave a loads of friends and many of whom i met in real life... many of whom discussed personal lives... the spamming at the forum resulted in a bonding with the members and also increasing my addiction to Geet..my spamming partners were Caco and ayeshu... Vini used to be there too but she was slow in spamming...😆😆😆😆...
my mornings at office used to start with updating myself on past 30/40 pages of den.. ash08 and bugsy used to be online in the morning and we used filling each other which what has been discussed... finally my crazy addiction saw me change my name from gouri.a to deniac... august 9th i changed my name after being at den for continuously 56 hrs without a break... i had become a den maniac n hence the name deniac... 😆😆😆😆... when frnds logged back they cudnt realte to this new member deniac... n i had to explain y i changed my name... i remember how Caco, ayeshu, vini had laughed at me... how bugsy was shocked n asked me on PM who r u?? 😆😆😆😆😆
Past 1 year my real life saw very little of me... while my time in virtual life has been huge... my life revolved around geet and den...
even today after having gone thru the torture of AA relationship, devini and series of MUs between Maan-Geet, i love the serial and more importantly i love the GHSP forum... the IF forum is my second home as i found many friends here... My family used to think i am soap crazy but after coming here i realised that if IF members were the yardstick then i am hardly crazy... 😆😆😆😆
I made loads of friends at IF n also met a few... actual quiet a few... 😆😆😆😆
wud like to specially name a few... doodle, jyo, aditi, smita, shrads, naughty nihu, geetu, jhinki, vrush, nihu(honeydew).. while i hv spoken on fone/skype with ash08, bri, caco, Ann, geets, muniza, kullu, shivi, manashi, Reet .. extensive PMs with Anj, Arwen, mehr,, ayeshu, tanu, Vini, Zee..i hv had numerous demanding Pms to muskan for tracks in her FF... lol... yeah i demand tracks in FFs too... 😆😆😆... Vrush once obliged me by writing a wishful thinking for me and another frnd on FB... how can i forget Anu n her jaan mails...😆😆😆... yeah PMs with some the frnds werent restricted to the show... lots of personal things got exchanged... How can i ever forget my cell bills which raised from a monthly Rs 1200 to a monthly Rs 6000... all thanks to the concalls me, doodle, jyo and aditi used to hv ... later geetu too joined those concalls...n smita too n ann too... baapre... at one point...one night we were 7 ppl on a concall n it was a full fish market... 😆😆😆😆... Tanu (my lobe) kept alleging that i am cheating on her with so many somes... i mean pehele 3 somes the, then 4 somesomes, then 5 somes, then 7somes... 😆😆😆😆
All good things change...i met frnds here n i lost some frnds here too... some hurt me, some I hurt... nonetheless, this forum has given me more than i lost...lot of frnds i met at den, left den either coz of the sheer pace at which the thread moved or coz they stopped watching the show... till march devils' den was equivalent to forum for me... coz i nvr stepped outside den..unless ofcourse it was taking part in some random fun at a frnd's post ... 😆😆😆😆
From april i started venturing outside den frequently as many founder devils stopped coming to den... i made newer frnds but mind u dint forget the old frnds... I have a special place for den in my heart n will always continue to hold it preciously..
As i complete 1 year at IF i wanna thank all those who made it special for me...
Thanks a lot to all the devils (special thanks to old devils)...Thanks a ton to all frnds on Idiotz thread, crazies thread, coffee table, wine clube, Drashti Dhami drooler's club.. yeah yeah i know i am part of lot of threads... 😆😆😆..special mention to deedians... thank u... n yeah how can i forget the numerable FF writers who entertained me...thank u ...
