rabia04ful- agree with u !!! it is self respect yes n the show has always been different so im sure that the wont show the typical husband wife jealousy track.. maan will be abit upset n discouraged but geet is there to give support... i hope she gives it back to the villagers soon if they do it again..!!!

OMG, be happy that they are actually handing the track logically!!!

had he not felt this way then there would have been no logic. Maan not only but if Geet too was told all of this...she would have been angry as well.

It is human nature...Maan isn't wrong to feel annoyed and hurt...as believe it or not he is being insulted by the men in that town indirectly.

I mean of course the men in the town do not mean to hurt him...as they don't know anything about Maaneet...and that Maan was a huge business man...BUT...i figured at least someone in that town would have recognized them no? I mean if Khurana's were sooo damn big...wouldn't his parents be recognized?

For instance...this place was his grandparents...fathers...someone in that town should have known who they were...so wouldn't they know who maan is?

Anywayz...yes it was an OUCH OUCH situation for maan...he is smart...intelligent but no job even yet...his wife got a job before he did...and everyone knows her in town as the teacher...so now Maan will be only known as the teacher's husband...he will have no identity of his...so it will hurt him!!

But at least our Geet made a name for herself...now maan needs to think clearly and be able to realize that it is ok... it is not Geet's fault and he should stay calm...and make a name for himself again like he did before!! Nothing new for him right?? He has done this...everyone knows him as MSK...just do it again right?

Oh well only if it was that easy.

You have a good point. But I like this story because as much as I love Maan, I love it when they show Geet as a strong, capable, resourceful person who is really good at what she does. We haven't seen that in full force since she worked in KC. And yes, it is a huge blow to Maan's ego to be Masterni's pati and not MSK but when he gets over it, it will be a great message about marriage. One thing I didn't understand was why he wouldn't take that Munshi-vaali job, at least temporarily. It's 100 times better than mazdoori, right? Or was it just because the offer came for Masterni's husband and not for MSK? hmmm.. poor Geet, she can see things going wrong and there isn't a thing she can do!

Well, he was happy for Geet & was liking the way ppl were praising his lady love!! Obviously, he is proud of her!! But when ppl were indirectly calling him unemployed & relying on his wife, he felt bad & useless! We can't blame the guy for this!! He's THE MAAN SINGH KHURANA & when ppl call him unemployed & think he's relying on his wife, he's bound to feel bad! But I'm DAMN SURE this won't affect their relationship!

I'm just waiting for memory-loss & excited to see how Adi sir finds them! Hopefully, real MSK will be back after that!

I agree.. Maan is just too intelligent , proud and sharp to be bruised by the words of a random stranger... He knows what hes capable of, hes soo bl**dy confident , he absolutely shouldn't feel bad if someone says that... his thought process shouldnt be that prosaic and narrow.

I expect him to be amused , or simply unaffected by taunts well meant or not.

ofcourse hes proud of Geet , but I want him to be proud of himself. after all not everyone out there has the guts to walk out on millions of dollars they earned just like that , and stat afresh for no fault of theirs.

I want that confidence to always be there in him. lets see how they tackle this.
