But we in India CANNOT contribute to the TRPS. Most of us don't have the electronic TAM meter that registers the TRPS.

And, Star One is well aware of this. So why are they telling us that TRP matters...they know that only a handfull of chosen homes have the TRP machine...mostly in Gujrat.

That's why the Gujrathi serials are so high on TRPS and why Star One is revamping the channel into a Gujarthi one.

Thank U so so much for giving such a good news.Bcz there are lame duck shows running worse than geet & geet has just started a new track which has good pottential guys. It is not advisable for starone to stop such agood show bcz now if U see the trend of new shows they are not as such original they are copied from other regional stuff like telugu or tamil dor is exact copy of telugu show mutyala muggu where the names of the charectors is also same, only the lady protogonists name is abirami in tamil and here it is avni. rest everything is same. ,pretto is copy of meeti olli in tamil or mettala savadi in telugu.In geet we are watching something which is not copied.It is the work of original creatives working hard for sucess. Moreover some shows are starting with abang with women all around wearing lot of jewellary sarees, ,hifi sets lot of rich people shown around artificial celebrations gathering of celebrities but after that the show goes off air witout notice in six months. so I request Geet team to think give time to the show a fair chance to complete the story as decided before advice them not to rush to end.

Irrespective of whatever they say ...the thing which decides a show's future are TRPS...if trps rise in new track ,it will not end but if trps dont rise it will end ...so trps ke upar everything is dependent😊

thank u for the information... i just hope that the creatives handle this track in an interesting manner so that the people who stopped watching the show during the amritsar drag will be tempted to start watching it again... for that to happen the creatives and the channel need to realise what works with the audience and what doesn't... and handle the show accordingly...
