i thought he meant that his mom passed away and therefore dev's mom gave him the motherly love and that is why he has always seen his mother image in her..

Agar maan bolete ma ke marne ke baad pammi mom ne pyar diya that means mother died but no he told after ma left .that maens she alive.i hope maan mothr will come back.beacuse maan past not yet open.so wait and watch.
