Why do you still watch GHSP - Page 6

How come no one is voting for the innovative, path breaking- MIL/Son-in-Law conflict as compared to MIL/DIL conflict which has become so routine on TV.

Are there people still watching it regularly? 😲 I voted first option (I didnt have anything else to watch).. but from this week onwards I have So You think you can dance 😃

GHSP is truly cutting edge!

Shradha, is it truly a mother-in-law/son-in-law conflict? She is a "mother-in-standing" for Geet. The true mother-in-law/son-in-law bonding or conflict will start only when Dev weds Nandini. So, wait and watch.

Interestingly, they use the words "damaad" as well as "jawaai" to refer to MSK. Don't the two words have different denotations, though they both mean "son-in-law"?

For now, it looks like mirror images fighting with each other. Maan Singh Khurana who refers to himself in the third person and values truth and honesty. And, Gurvinder Kaur who refers to herself in the third person and detests jhooth and beimaani. Both of them stand with their hands placed on their hips when they confront a person. There are so many more similarities between them.

as far as I know- damaad and Jawai mean exactly the same thing- though in 2 different languages! Do they have different connotations?
