My analysis for today
Why is it that an excellent episode is followed by one that is substandard in almost every respect 😕 🤔 ...why cannot the CVs be consistent for several episodes in a row. 👎🏼
To put it lightly today's episode was a disappointment to me on several levels. I am going to tackle them one by one
Adi-Mamaji scene
1) Mamji's drunkard comedy has become stale 👎🏼
2) Making fun of Adi's bachelor status was done very poorly. It came off as annoying and cheap
instead of funny. 👎🏼
3) I also found the scene of mamji force feeding Adi liquor in extremely poor taste. 👎🏼 What kind of a social message are you trying to send here? Drinking destroys families and here you are showing a drunkard getting a good honest man drunk in the name of comedy. It is beginning grate on my nerves.
Bimbo visits Maan scene 🥱
OK that scene was not even funny. Let alone funny, it was not even convincing. 🥱
It would have been funnier if Geet had started throwing stuff at Maan, Adi and the bimbo 😆 😆 😆 and they started running helter skelter trying to escape her anger 🤣 🤣 🤣 but instead it was reduced to a pedestrian scene .
I am tired of seeing a jealous Geet to the point that it has become run-of-the-mill. It is not even a novelty any more. 🥱
Geet's character
I thought the title of your show was Geet not Maan . What have you done to the character of Geet? She was such a happy-go-lucky lovable girl. Now she is downright annoying. I honestly have a very hard time associating with her. She is irritating, annoying and makes no sense.
She is not a fun character any more and sometimes I even wonder what MSK sees in her. You have destroyed her character after marriage. This needs to be fixed. She is behaving like the dog in the manger - she will not be happy and neither will she let Maan be happy.
She will not be nice to him but will show him attitude but at the same time if he shows her attitude, she will get hurt and annoyed. She is behaving like a petulant 5 year old. Time she grows up. Until she starts behaving like an adult, this character is doomed to disappoint the fans.
I have a lot more to say but I am going to stop here.
Things I liked
The Maaneet scene was nice because it is so long since we had one. 😳
I loved all the Maan-Adi scenes and Adi's dialogues were simply hilarious 😃
The Lachi-Lucky-Geet-Pammi-Nandu scene was good but Geet's behavior was too OTT.
The Preeto-Maan-Lucky-Geet scene was good
I hope Geet had a valid explanation for all this nonsense tomorrow. Geet's OTT behavior and Mamaji's drunken nonsense are beginning to grate on my nerves.
I certainly hope the concerns will be addressed and we will get a much better episode tomorrow.
