My story is different. I saw the promo where Naintara tells Geet that she is Dev's wife and Geet is shocked. I thought, this is interesting. She has to fight for her right as Dev's wife (clueless about the serial)...but never got the chance. And i was watching Dill Mill Gayye and there was a promo where Brij asks Maan to marry Geet and get the property papers. Again, so interested and wanted to watch it. Because Maan was a hottie, but never got the chance. And watching Dill Mill Gayye but it was an half hour early and Geet was on, and was the episode were Maan saves Geet from Brij in the jungle and the hot hot hot fight scene. I was literally amazed. Than saw the promo with the Maneet hug and i needed to watch the rest of the show.

So went online and watched all the previous epis. Wasnt a lot since it was the beginning so finished it in a day. And watched the epis according to India's time (its a week behind in US)...

And became a full-fledged Maneetian/Gurtian...

Glad i was an hour early to watch Dill Mill Gayye...

Wow! I too glad that u watched DMG a half and hour ago! Cox we got an other fan!! lol

In my case, I was going through a very bad phase in my life...I'd gotten some very bad news on the 21 st of April...so, to get my mind off things, I sat before the Tv and was flipping channels...I think it was a Saturday of the same week ...I stopped at Star One for no reason...and in my haze of grief, I recognised DD as the one who played Muskan In DMG and thought I'd watch to see what's happening...

It was confusing at first coz they were telecasting the synopsis of the whole week...the part where she meets Maan at the fair, her wedding, SR and the airport scene.

Interestingly enough, I liked Abhinav Shukla and thought he was the hero...when I saw the bit about him leaving her airport and smirking nastily along with NT, I found THAT interesting...Not Maan...he looked familiar but I couldn't place him...I didn't like the way he'd pushed DD aside when the goons were attacking her...then I realised he was the guy playing Ram...I'd found him a little odd in the Ramayan promos...I used to watch Bandini in Imagine, you see...he came across as a bit constipated-looking in that show and I'd found it rather odd that he'd carry that look off screen as well!

Needless to say, I was amazed to find that the two were the same guy!!

Anyway, to cut a long story short, I wanted to see if Dev would regret what he did and if his initial attraction to Geet would draw him back to India.

The, rest, as we know, is history!!

Wow u are the 1st person I know who started it for Abhnav lol
