CHANGES MAANEET

My life was going perfectly I had everything that I ever wanted perfect family, perfect house, and perfect everything, BUT there was something MISSING. What was it ? I could never figure out.

We were all getting ready to go to my best friend Pinky's aunts party. I always took forever because sometimes I couldn't find matching jewelry or sometimes matching shoes.

Suddenly my mom calls me saying- Geet hurry up

and then I look into the mirror one last time before I run to the door.

When i entered the party first thing I was looking for was my best friend PINKY

she is super loud, funny, and nice.

When I saw her first thing I did was grab a seat right next to her, and then we just kept on gossiping about the people that were at the party and what type of clothes or shoes they were wearing.

Then Pinky says that she is HUNGRY, and we both decide to go get something to eat ( like somosas or pakores lol) while I'm in line I bump into this guy and then he turns around and gives me a cheesy smile and says that " IM SORRY" and then I'm like its "OKAY", but it was something bout him that I kept on staring and I felt like he kept starring at me.

Once we go back to the table, I see the guy and he is talking to Pinky's brother and then he looks at me and then I instantly look back down again. We kept on stealing glances at each other.

Then it was time to dance and I LOVE TO DANCE, so me and Pinky were dancing on the girls side and then suddenly the crowd kept on getting smaller and smaller and then it was only family members left and there were was also that guy. We all danced and then he started to dance next to me and he started to sing the lyrics to me and i just smiled casually, and then I moved towards Pinky, because I didn't want my mom to get mad lol

So now it was time to eat, and all the youngsters were sitting at one table, and thats were I had a formal introduction with that "Guy"

that " Guy" was MAAN SINGH who was Pinky's cousin who came to attend the party from san francisco and will be staying here for the rest of the summer.

I was just wondering why is he keep staring at me??????

MAAN POV

I finally found out the girls name that I kept staring throughout the party

her name was GEET which sounded so pure and right, and when I found out that she is Pinky's best friend

I knew this summer was going to be AMAZING in Los Angeles.
