No prob Al take your time!!! naah Al you seem like a pretty AWARE mom!!! especially because your daughter tells you everything!! How long were you in kuwait? Did your daughter study there at all???

🤗DH.

I was born & brought up in Kuwait. Became more kuwaiti than indian. Loved their food, had lots of arab friends, explored the desert with them as I grew up. I studied till high school and returned to Bangalore for grad and then post grad from Kuwait University. Married from India, Calcutta to be precise, daughter was pure Indian. She was born in Nagaland😆. North East of India.😆 I sometimes say like the roots are very much a part of me so when I die, I would like to be floated on a dhow, set fire to, and vanish into the Arabian Sea.😛 Something like the Knights in fine armour!!

Halwa .. I'm in the same boat as you m'dear.

I was born and brought up in United Arab Emirates.. although my family originates from Pakistan .. but I like referring to myself as more Arabian .. because I never spent much time in Pakistan anyway :)

WOW AL babes that's something!! It's amazing the attachment you grow to where your childhood has passed ... your last wish is very touching!! They say you dream most of the place you are closest to. Most of my dreams always get placed where I grew up from age of 4 to 11. Very interesting phenomenon of mind! Connection is very deep and strong! Your daughter is very much Indian.. That's good. Has she ever been to kuwait?

Halwa .. ever since I moved to Canada .. i had to wait a good 7 years before going back there again ... been there 3.. 4 times now after moving here .. but yes I'd love to spend time there..

but now .. My Daddy works in Qatar .. so we go there every year! :D

Dh,

Mia has only been to England, Malaysia and Singapore. Hopefully, after her 12th, we visit the US. I've been there 2's on hols, but wud like to take her. THese young girls, US is their dream hols😆

😆MK, Cool yaar. You are a highly sensible chic; I can speak better arabic than hindi.

I have travelled all over Arabia, during my years there. I had kuwaiti palestinian friends who were as game to travel as myself. Been to UAE, egypt, bahrain, Oman, lebanon, iraq, libya, controlled palestine from Jerusalem...... I had a whale of a time, living on khubuz, arab goat cheese and olives. Taboulah was my fave. Lived on salads, cheese and olives a lot. My mouth waters for arab food. When I travelled to Cyprus, from India on a working trip, I got back to eating arab food, I was preg with Mia then.😆

My state of mind is more complex.......i was in Ind till 6 so ven i cam here all I wantd to do was Go Back to my houz where my Grndparnts stay....coz i am very close to dem.....

Den I got used to dis place.....hav frnds here....noe all places here.....its home now....den I had to go to Ind fr trainin.....felt out of plac der coz da lyf out der is diffrnt......den ven i got usd to da routn der....i cam bck here😆......nw i love dis plac bt lov da wrk der......

so u see its all complictd!!😆😆
