Opti, I am only discussing Geet forgiving Maan and attempting to explain why it would be difficult for Geet to forgive, why the hurt will remain for a while. I agree with you that they would ruin her character if they were to show her applying double standards.

i would like to say that i am loving the current track and i am happy that geet is headed towards amritsar. There is this phrase which i dont precisely remember but the concept is somewhat that when you fall on the ground, you need to touch that ground to stand up on your own. Without touching the ground you cant get up. External forces can help pull you up and make you avoid touching the ground but that always runs the risk of making you fall again accidentally or intentionally. So when geet left her hometown the situation was life threatening and maan pulled her up and saved her. Geet didnt get the opportunity to stand on her own both literally and conceptually. Now its a very good chance for geet to go back on that crime spot and rebuild her identity. She is no criminal that she would be forbidden in her own home. She needs to prove her potential and stand on her own so that next time she makes any decision, she would be understood and valued instead of being questioned and criticised. If i were on the GHSP story writing team i would have moved the track this way that geet would settle herself in amritsar by joining any organization(school/orphanage/NGO). Meanwhile maan would keep searching for her helplessly when any project will make them meet in any third location. Maaneet meeting in amritsar would be too cliche. Neither maan nor geet should have the slightest clue or intuision that they would meet the next day. It could be such that they are too busy preparing themselves for the meeting and would be too surprised to see each other. Their unioun should not be imposed. Fans who cannot see them separate for a while could rewatch the old episodes for some time. But its important that they meet only by the spiritual force. Its not that maan is a superhuman and can find anyone whenever lost rather maan would only find geet when he is allowed by the supernatural force through immense mental sufferings.

@ Nabs, every misunderstanding they have had so far Maan has questioned her self-respect in one way or another. Ofcourse I have accepted this separation, but I am posting this just for the sake of argument.

Before the IP track when they went their separate ways, maan had challenged Geet that she will not be able to survive without him even for a day. Geet did not even mind that. She just wanted to prove that she could, and even then she loved him and he meant the world to her.

After their wedding when Maan was acting all strange and she question him, he told her that he had given her everything, the Khurana name, comforts and that she should not ask for anything more. This by far is the most insulting thing he has said it her. Yet she waited for him with open arms.

This time he said "Agar" geet ke khoon mein gairat nahi hai, it was not even conclusive. And this time of all times she knew what led him to be angry. Why leave the house this time?

This time geet's fault is really negligeable. She lost her child, she is all mentally paralyzed. Her hatrad for dev wasnt active neither was her love for maan for a while. Dev was the least important existance in her beautiful life with maan. Dont know how geet ticked maan off so much when i have always noticed maan to be the problematic child. He avoids holi and whose problem is that? Geet arranged everything for maan when he decided to stay in the bed whole day. Geet was talking to maan when he decided not to listen to her. Maan is an introvert and so he suffers like that. He is the creator of his own problem. He is the one who doesnt ask why rather try to conclude in a way that feeds his ego. Well that a type of human nature and those types suffers this way. If he wants to suffer less he would need to change else things will be like that to him throghtout his life. About dev, he was punished by destiny; he lost his regular life and family forever and the same destiny rewarded geet with everything and love. So its a kind of natural revenge and consequesces that took place between dev and geet. The main idea of this show is not how to punish the criminals because in real life its almost never possible to punish the criminals. The idea is such that even when the criminals think they can get away unpunished, destiny and their crimes haunt and punish them. The idea is, when you are deceived, keep the faith and keep going because one day you will succeed and the criminal will be punished. The end! :)

geet is matured compared to any other 18 year old. The thing is, this time she made less mistakes. If dev was not maan's bro geet would have never considered forgiving him. Maan's biggest mistake was that he didnt have faith in geet. Somewhoere inside he keeps on thinking that geet is not safe to be let out alone, geet would keep making mistakes unless maan comes to her rescue. Maan saw things that definitely irritated him and the most natural thing was to ask her maybe angrily but ask her. What he did was too cheap. He saw things and made up his own conclusions that geet is shameless, she doesnt bother about her dignity and all. How could he forget that geet played holi in front of the whole family and not alone? But the thing is, its maan's personality, its in his very core and he would need to change that and have faith in his wife and believe that she is the symbol of purity to him like he said before. Geet may have made some silly mistakes but maan's criticism regarding geet's blood was too much a crime.

Maaneet all the way .... here's wising that they learn to verbally talk to each other and not at each other, and not at cross-purposes.😆
