Geet's character was never assacinated but has infact grown to eternity where she takes the toughest decision of forgiving her rapist and decides to move on with her true love Maan Singh Khurana.
Why it is not assacinated and has become eternal?
Well,for a girl like Geet for whom there is no one as important as Maan Singh Khurana becozz she loves him out of respect for the man's character and nature....and wud have never survived in his absence,there is nothing surprising if she forgives Dev her rapist and biggest culprit becoz Dev gave her Maan back,as he saved Maan's life as a gift to Geet..by donating his blood on right time...
"Fictional circumstances at its disgusting best but then...justified.....absolutely justified when Geet decides to forgive Dev...well playing holi is unacceptable but then it is ok when you get benefit of being a too good character..
"Many are writing their feelings and criticising Geet for how cud she forget Maan's love for her and what he did for her."
Well,Maan never did anything for Geet,he did it only because he loved Geet and related to her.
Fantastic display of writing,fictional build up of drama and great use of minimum words and lines with maximum impact on viewers and a larger than life and never seen before performances from Drashti and Gurmeet to give moments which wud force many to say..
"Wow,what a Maaneetastic,Maaneetjestic and Maaneetacular moment."
Certainly Drashti and Gurmeet have the maximum impact as they are simple irresisitable and unmatchable when together...making even a normal scene and a line look a momento..
But apart from them Barry Dhillon and Maan Singh the director cannot be ignored for sure..
Barry Dhillon who now writes screenplay and story alongwith absolutely innovative and sensible dialogues for Geet is also complimented by Manish Pandey and together they have caught the nerve which appeals to fans and if they seriously beleive and understand what fans want they can not only revive the series but also otherwise sail the series with pride which was otherwise a sunk "TITANIC"
Its been months that Geet somehow lost its classic touch when Ved Raj and three other writers were writing for Geet,they for some reason were not able to recreate that magic which was so eagerly desired by Maaneet fans who have set absolutely high standards for anyone to even match..
Ever since Barry and Manish have started writing....many felt Geet's character was assacinated and destroyed but that is not the case..
Barry very smartly uses the tricks of emotions and relations...to justify Geet's decision..
Earlier in September 2010 when hints were given about Maan Dev and Geet confrontation...many fans felt it shud be avoided..miscarriage shud happen and Geet shud forget about Dev and move ahead in life as Maan was her future...
Selfish yet very true desire by fans as many wanted to see Maaneet's love flourish and not just flourish but alos become eternal and no one shud come in between...
It is time to support the series as a great peice of fictional work and support and motivate Barry Dhillon and Manish Pandey to continue with their good work as hopes revive with capability displayed by both of them in reviving the good old passionate maaneet days when heart beats rose everytime Maan approached Geet and Maahi in the background making even a stone hearted person to feel the magic of love.
I hope Barry Dhillon makes the reunion in the best possible passionate manner where both Maan and Geet feel guilty for not showing respect towards each others feelings....
Vikrant Khatri is too bad in expressing his feelings in few words and lines and wishes to take few coaching classes from Barry Dhillon to learn words like "Gairat" to explain feelings in the best possible manner in just one word.
