I loved todays episode... not only because of the performances, but cuz of how the twist was brought about.
After Daadi had talked to Geet, Geet had suddenly realized that Maan was hurting too ,seeing her sad, so she did what comes naturally to her... Suddenly jump with all effort to the brighter side of things and try making it all good...
She forgave Dev cuz that aspect of her life doesn't matter to her anymore(not right now anyway), Dev is nothing to her. After having lost her child, maybe she just wants to treasure what she has -- Maan. ... and remember this facet of her character-- once she gets a notion in her head she forgets everything else, hears nothing else... sees nuthing else..
And so she goes crazy with Holi prep and.. yep, in that vein alone allows Dev to wish her Holi that way. Shes still in that zone where shes solely concentrated on getting Maan back.
Then Maan, the man reeled from the tragedy and then from Geets shock.... natural for him in this vulnerable state to easily misunderstand Dev, even get angry on Geet... moreover he initially slunks back in his shell...
But now i know why it was required by the CVs for Dev to touch Geet - To get Maan out from his shell and vent his feelings, his rage, his confusion....
Todays kitchen scene was splendid... beyond words. Dev trying his damnest to sort things out, Maan furious , punches him, Geet trying to hold him back while pained and scared of the violence in him..
and then Maans unforgivable words.
YEah... he had to say those words didnt he. like always when he runs his mouth in anger. Unadulterated Maan Singh Khurana.
I was wondering all along what would make Geet take such a big decision of leaving the house.. now we know. His words, were vicious... my gawd I could feel their cold steely edge cut Geet open into two... her expressions were gut wrenching as she hears him trash her so, to Dev...
I'll have to say this-- brilliant lines by the CVs. Nothing could have hurt more, nothing could have had the power to rack her entire being like that.
Yes, there was nothing else to do except leave.
Todays episode brought GEET back. We wanted passion , anger , LOVE.. well we got the beginning of it.
There is no way Geet can let go of this sooo easily. the words were just too harsh.
We should rejoice cuz now it seems, the old essence of Get will be back.
And yes, just cuz our leads are shown to make mistakes , have a temper, and run into mu's now and then doesnt mean that Dev is being shown good and they bad... c;mon ..how ridiculous is that!
We want love and passion between these two people, whose weaknesses we know and love.. not between divinities or saints! They have a right to make mistakes , show their weaknesses.. doesnt make them any less of a people they are.
And just cuz Dev is being genuine and trying to be good, doesnt mean CVs are perverts.. why shudnt he try and be good or atone for his sins😕... Maan may/may not punish him I dont care.. but yes I appreciate him trying to make amends for his past...
a good episode in a long time..
