@ Bubba - I agree with you. Her decision to keep the baby was an emotional one and not a logical or practical one. Such decision majorly depend on the kind of person you are.

For every girl who will go for an abortion when subjected to a similar situation, there will be another one who will be willing to fight all odds. There is no right or wrong to it. Just the kind of person u r. Thatz all. Some may not make it and will be forced to make different choices eventually (maybe), but some people do make it.

@Setfree...In Geet's case her upbringing did not let her think for herself , she came from a very strict environment where girls were treated like dirt.Don't you think its a little unreasonable to expect her to be independent etc? Her decision to fight back was triggered by her family's insistence on getting her married, Dev's daga bazi,asking her to forget the marriage,trying to kill her baby and Maan's constant taunting.She had had it.

sorry t's not fair to blame her...cause she wasn't holding hands off dev...and told him to CON geet.... she didn't know that it would happen...that was her mistake....but not the CON nor is she responsible ofr the result...

@Priti...true that, and there in lies the crux of the matter. It depends on the individual, I would have been immensely happy had they shown her fight for justice succeed,had she made an identity for herself beyond just being Maan's wife.Love is awesome and gives you a reason to hope and live,but there's a sense of self that only you can go ahead and achieve...Man I am NOT making any sense🤣

@ setfree - How is my statement leading towards anything that makes you conclude that Geet does not have a mind of her own?

I am glad that most of us are fortunate not to experience such stuff in our life's but male dominant families where women are just expected to follow what men say is very common even today. I have friends even today who just spend their live's in the kitchen because their husband's don;t want them to work.

Geet was brought up in a family where women had no say, They just followed what the men decided for them, she met Dev and thought he wasn;t bad afterall. She married him. But when things went wrong and her family went against her, she fought with everything she had for her rights.

I am saying quiet the contrary. She has a mind of her own. And she made her choices. But her family was a huge influence in her decision to marry Dev and she had no reason to believe he was bad. So she married him.
