One of my ex-flate-mates had only one aim in life to get married though she was doing some course. We used to find that so darn amusing but from her perspective that was right.

@ An, Swan - I understand your point of Geet wanting to just lead a simple life with not big career aspirations for herself. But I slightly disagree. We have never been told what Geet aspired for herself, in the sense, we know that she wanted to study further and not get married. Her marriage to Dev was forced upon her which she accepted. She has hated her family bossing her around simply because she is a girl etc. Aren;t those signs of wanting to be independent?

Being the owner of a company and being financially independent are very different things. She is a strong woman with a strong personality. When given a chance she wanted to take on more work even in KC. She was upset when the Chopra project was taken away from her. she has liked to handle such responsibilities.

I for one want to see her financially independent.
