Drashmeet in the same look again?for special show

My only motive to write this is becoz the first look of what is to be shown in valentines day special programme is good but DD and GC's look is so disgusting that it is a complete turn off indeed,it may be entertaining but the first look is a big time turnoff.

This is the first time I wud be criticising Drashti and Gurmeet and feeling really bad for doing it,as a fan I have such great regards for DD and GC,but their decision to dance on a tapori number is so disgusting and is such a turn off that the excitement of watching them onscreen dancing together has faded significantly.

Fans had such great expectations of watching them together for the first time,but this time none other than DD and GC let down their fans by agreeing to dance to tunes of a tapori song and sporting a look of a tapori,well it can be entertaining.


Seems like DD and GC themselves are not serious about the image they carry and fans literally idolise them as Maan and Geet.

I havent seen the add neither heard which song it is,but it is a tapori song and the snaps confirm it is a tapori song,which has left many feel disgusted and is such a turn off.

When they know which image has made them immortal,which image has taken them to heights which is envied by many of their counterparts,millions literally worshipping them.
Will it look good and wud it sound great to see them in such a look,I cant give an example because it involves my deity and Lord Ram and Sita,but Maan and Geet are setting example of a perfect couple.

The theme is valentines day and we are getting this,forget it,from our superstars.

From a mere event point of view it is fine,potraying a tapori image,after all it is entertainment and art.

But since 8 popular couples are involved and Ekta kapoor has smartly pitched in her famous couples and the plot too involves her new story an inspiration from Twilight.

My request to Drashti and Gurmeet,do you really think it is merely a show organised for valentines day.

This is entertainment bussiness and if you miss the hype and initial image and take fans support for granted you would land in deep trouble.

1) Look what happened to Hrithink after Kaho naa pyaar hai

2) Imran Khan after Jaane tu ya Jaane naa

3) Rajeev Khandelval after Kahin toh

4) Amar Upadhaye after Kyukiiiiiiiiii

5) Aamna Shariff after Kahin tohhh

These are examples only to request you to please consider and realise your star power,your star image,fans are crazy for you,so crazy that the next year you both would be seeing walking on the red carpet for filmfare awards winning the best debut award and winning the best onscreen couple award beating SRK-Kajol,Hirthik-Ash,Ranbeer_Katrina for the bolly biggies to raise eye brows..


The entire fan following,image is built on perception and image,if you break this image which is your plus point,you end up loosing your USP.

It is a mere show and valentines special,but for many Maaneet fans it was a stage where their superstars wud be performing amongst other popular couples..

Ask from fans how it feels to see your superstar not justifying their image which is so loved by fans.

Wasn't it possible to dance on"Aaja sohnie" from Mujhse shadi karogi,if some tapori flavour was desired and look classy...

There are other songs too for Maaneet....

I know this article sounds no sense now,but if Drashti and Gurmeet themsleves are not serious about their image,then slowly fans wont take them seriously and it wud be such an insult of such great talents..

My only request it,look at your senior counterparts in bollywood,they are all striving on image despite nothing much to offer as in talent..

Please preserve your image,there are many culprits who are waiting for one chance to pounce on you and bring you down.

Even it is a small event,justify your image please,with other pairs for sure getting better porayals and platforms and valentines day special being one marketing strategy by the great ekta kapoor to boos her show which is now number one on starone in terms of TRP's has greatly used the other romantic couples to divert attention of new viwers to her show.

More disappointingly,the show will not just boost other pairs and their charisma but wud also downgrade the image of Drashti and Gurmeet..

But may be I can think of this because I am too possessive about my supertars and dont want them to go down the standards for creativity and entertainment.

Rest,it is a mere entertainment show and I have just explained the hidden gains and agendas which if are unkown to makers then it is really very unfortunate and if it was known then is even more unfortunate becoz they are ruining their star couples image with their own hand.

Do hell with such creativity which does not appeal fans and rather makes them feel disgusted because they have a higher regards and feelings for their superstars and in times when fan power and display has become fad,Drashti and Gurmeet let millions of
Maaneet fans feel let down becasue for sure after the show the talk wud be who was the best amongst the eight..


Vikrant Khatri signs off knowing many wud be bashing him,but the real reason behind writing so much will be understood only be few.Just saw the snaps and it has left me extremely disappointed,why cant they offer Drashti and Gurmeet something classy which goes by the image they are loved for.

Pathetic,creative people under the name of something creative and new end up landing great pairs in the wrong plot...

No wonder I am excited to watch them dancing together for the first time but StarOne and the team organising the show have yet again let many fans down who felt disgusted after watching Drashti and Gurmeet in the look..and few said the song too is tapori...

It is great to see them in a different look,but atleast the organisers should have understood what is the kind of image these carry in fans eyes...and the place they have..

What is more surprising is,team Geet and actors themselves agreed to the theme given..

Well lets see what is hown,but it is going to be rocking for sure but Drashti and Gurmeet are not justifying their image by agreeing to do the theme and look and dance to tunes of a tapori song which atleast does not go with the image which millions have fallen in love with.

Vikrant Khatri feels,its only becasue of fans "Maaneet" have managed this place otherwise under the name of creativity and doing something different,even the actors themselves are not justifying their image.

i agree that they are getting a raw deal in terms of promotion... but that is not in their hands... it's the channel's call...

I for one, am dying to see them do their fun number cuz they are such amazing dancers and besides this type of chemistry we wont be able to see on the show.. it would be something new and refreshing..

I have to admit , I wasn't very enthused when I first learnt that they wont be doing a passionate number, but then , we get enough of that on the show , dont we.. I am very sure they are going to sweep us off our feet with their performance and we'll love it..😳

In fact, after seeing the pictures I can barely contain my excitement!😆... they are looking fabulous... I loved GC's expressions😃 in the pic, as also their dresses ... ohc'mon, they are actors, and they do the bidding of the channel and their production houses...

it may seem they have been shorthanded, but think of it this way guys-- had they done the same thing again, it wouldn't have any novelty,

besides they still have to come close in the show, their SR is remaining, so any passionate number of any kind has a better place in the show than on the valentines performance, isnt it...

lets applaud their versatility ... and enjoy it. dont get too serious about it. 😃

i was waiting for some romantic songs

atleast they would have danced for Kurbaan hua or mahi mahi that was much much better then wat they are doing on V days
