Fiction holds no interest to Maan, a waste of time it is.
When Life itself has been a journey so strange & full of surprises to him..why will a 'tell-tale' attract him and
Maan Singh Khurana never wastes his time on anything that does not call for his 100% attention.
Dancing around the trees, breaking up into a song number at inappropriate most moments, unreal heroes, dumb villains & accesory as in the heroine are so unlike things to attract him.
And they don't.
But all thanks to the Drama Queens of his Life...he lands up with two tickets in his hand & a order from the 'high command', Dadi Maa that he has to take Geet to a movie. That to after having to cancel all his important meetings & appointments.
Though the idea is not appealing to him at all..but it holds a great interest to him, Geet.
Being with Geet.
And most importantly watching her jump with joy , all excited to be able to visit a movie theater after so long , she recalls & tells him of her first movie hall experience as a kid,but she is soon cut short by him.
He mentions that he is just reminded of something important & should be dealt with urgently & he alone can get it done & so has to leave.
He is in hurry and promises her to be back in time to take her to the movie.
Reluctant ..yet she lets him go, she knows he wont rest until what just stuck him is done.
He leaves & she makes use of the time to get herself dressed for him, their first movie together.
The hour given passes he does not arrive, she knew he hated the whole idea but was upset & angry to have her hopes crushed. Icing on the cake he is late & he sends a driver to collect her.
Mad at him she leaves home to meet him at the venue he sent for her to arrive at ....and lands up in a dark room with no Maan there.
Darkness she fears of & also of not having Maan with her there. Scared she tries to get out from there sure that she must have come to a wrong place & soon should return home,
to Maan.
Door is locked & that scares her 'mouse heart' more.
The very moment the room gets lighted by a projected picture of hers as his Bride & she hears a assurance coming from the very darkness, a richly timbered male voice inviting her to share the moment.
'Don't be scared , Come and have a seat'
Assured yet confused , she lets go of her attempt to break out from there & moves to take a seat of the two lay to hear the story the narrator has to offer.
The moment she is seated the voice unfolds to her a known story, story of a man.
A man who had locked himself into darkness , angry at life itself he refused himself the liberty to smile, to be happy.
His life was but a quest , quest of unknown & that made him restless until he met a stranger who soon became the reason for his existence, his life , his love.
His Geet.
From the darkness the male figure moves into light as does the hero in the story told, and with his face coming to light, her face reflects the joy that his heart is glowing with & she smiles.
Smiles at her Maan.
At peace now with the unfamiliar surrounding she is no more scared , nothing to worry as he is here with her so she smiles.
He makes her & himself re-live their journey , their story that is both real & unique , and its theirs.
Without the help or need of any visual aid but the dim beaming light of the projector screen holding to her the vision dearest most to his heart, his dream & now his life.
Eternally his , his Bride.
Filled with emotions that these memories bring with their reminder, tears of joy & smile of contentment.
She looks upto him, wanting him to go on & she sit here watching & hearing only him filling up her mind, heart & soul with her angel's presence.
She does not dare to blink & miss warmth of love & expressions on his face that shine & grow with the flow of the memories.
' I am what I am all cause of You'
At him again recite to her what her own heart never fails to beat of, she walks up to him.
Pulled by the strings that bind their heart together to beat as one she floats to him as if moving in a dream, So does he.
Blindly they move towards eachother , captivated by the love reflected in their eyes , love that seeps through every pore of their being they near eachother.
When I look into your eyes
I can see how much I love you
All my dreams come true
Its what I realize
When I look into your eyes
Like a dream they flow & meet its completion, holding eachother's hand to never let go.
Taking her hand in his he goes on his knees & acknowledges her for being in his life...being his life.
Melody of their mingled heart beats fill up the silence from her end, silence marked by presence too great for words.
"If love cannot bring tears into your eyes , then that love is dead"
Unable to express herself as he always does, now did ..nor able to hold back her own gratitude for his love , for accepting her, them in his life .
Tears stream down her face, tears that voice her gratitude, her love, she beams at him.
She expresses the inexpressible through her tears.
I cry with the gratitude of finding true love.
I want to feel comfortable, safe and happy in your arms.
I want to know that in this uncertain world, with all of the things that are up to fate, circumstance and chance,
The things that are unshakably true are those that you bring to my life, its You.
Seeing her reflect his own emotions he holds her to his heart he asks
'Did you like this movie?'
A answer to which he knows, she smiles at him for yet again making 'their first movie together' experience memorable for her, for redefining it for her .
In the movie of our life,
starring you and me.
We write romance scenes,
like forever had no end.
We've only gotten started,
the end is far from now.
'Super Hit' , She says.
And in a affectionate & protective acceptance & acknowledgment of their love they again hold eachother to their bosom.
Face to face , heart to heart they promise eachother never to be apart be it in this life or many lives to come.
Love
