Maybe the stranger is the fake priest who got Dev and Geet married. He may have been hired to do some work for the reception and sees Geet. Realising that she is married to a multi-millionaire, he thinks he can get some kick and hopefully some money in blackmailing her. He may not know that Maan already knows about Geet's past.
