Maan and Geet
Geet saying she needs to sleep...lays down on the bed.
Maan goes to the washroom- comes back- sees her asleep..
gently kissing her cheek
the softest of touches,she opens her eyes gently
Come to bed maan,she told him quietly
eyes moving to her lips, he gazed with soulful longing
hmm geet...he said softly
as he lays,she moves towards him
i know we cannot go beyond..
let's make the most of what we have..
let's make this space stand for something special
she laid her head on his arm and he pulled her close
dropped another kiss,this time near her eye
go to sleep geet- i have office tomorrow
don't torture me more now...i have to go
so they slept- barely touching and yet connected
a tenderness and sharing even in distance
the resistance out of love- the distance so easily closed
and yet staying apart- for the sake of love
