@Anj, me not married too, but I always thought that 1 yr of marriage is the best time as no kids, and there is excitement of being just married. Anyways in MaanEet's case, even for drama purpose, they could have shown nice scenes between MaanEet, yet when Geet is not around we would get to see tensed and sad MSK. MSK totally ignoring her and then being rude to her is not what was expected from him. His sole aim in life is to see Geet happy. Knowing his intelligence, he would have come up with a way to deal with this CON issue without really hurting Geet. Thats why I think its more to do with schedule than drama. Drama still would have been there, but just not on ur face, like it is right now.

An out of town trip - would be dumb TRP and drama move. There is no tension in it. Geet would not know that there was anything wrong. So, nothing wrong means nothing to solve. And GC on vacation. TRP in the tank!

Anvi, yes they did not show any self-talk for Maan. That is why his actions are always confusing. We have a lot of self-talk for Geet so we basically know what is going on in her pretty little head. Maan as such is a complex character and they make it even more difficult to decipher him by not giving him any appropriate self talks or giving him the wrong or confusing ones.
