Smi, just saw your comment in the previous den. Agree with you. Nobody is judging a person who wants to be a full time home maker but isn't it ridiculous that a modern day Dadi would be suggesting marriage for an 18-19 year old who has not even completed her graduation? Most girls who go on to become home makers do get a basic degree first.

Yes, there are girls who get married very early in life because of family compulsions and then regret that they missed out on college life. It is too early to be weighed down by family responsibilities. Geet was married young because her family considered her a liability. Geet herself wanted to study first. Now with the baby and all it is socially more acceptable that she is married, at least for the sake of the baby (of course she loves Maan and it is not merely a social obligation now). That is not the case with NE. Why then is Dadi talking of marriage for such a young girl?

I dont think NE will confide in anyone because she knows Maan warned her against Arjun and Geet too voiced her concern. She will not have the guts to confide in Dadi either. She will just be mourning in silence and maybe Geet may get it forcefully out of her (that is if she does not kill herself before that - yes, I'm a die hard optimist in that count)

@ Opti - Bang on. U know what, I think the people who come up with the future tracks and storyline sometimes forget the character sketch.

If NE was being introduced just for the sake of Arjun's revenge, there was no need to make her an 18 year old. But they wanted to show her as a pampered spoilt brat and for some reason such spoilt brats have to be teenagers.

I was actually even disappointed that Maan and Geet did not even have a conversation about their future even once. They were making a commitment for life. You would expect that they talk at least a little bit about their future's. At least once conversation where Maan asks her if she wants to work after the wedding, if she wants to study, etc.

And even Geet. According to the story line she was duped of a marriage 4 months ago? Irrespective of how much I loved another man, if I was as shattered as she was, I wouldn;t contemplate another wedding for atleast a couple of years.

So I guess we just have to look past all these things. After all, cinematic liberty toh bhi toh kuch cheez hai.

If Arjun actually tells Anne explicitly that he sought revenge from Maan for destroying his sisters life and hence played with Anne's, I would expect Anne to give him a piece of her mind and tell him exactly whatz transpired in the past before she breaks down. If someone if accusing ur brother of something he is not responsible for, u defend. But I guess she is not someone with that kind of intelligence. Or maybe Arjun won't tell her why he cheated on her.
