So, the discussion has shifted from dissing NEB to dissing Daarji....progression....š
My two cents on Daarji's return.... See...I think the CVs are trying to show a contrast....Brij...the younger hot-blooded generation is still harping about Purkhon ki Ijjat...and the man who taught him that is turning over a new leaf....He is accepting his mistake and asking for forgiveness from Geet...Tell me how many people from the older generation will bend....Its very rare....
And as Sharmi was saying earlier...He was the Patriarch of the family and he was looked upto by everyone...and for them their false pride is more important than right or wrong....And also I have to add that the Handa family didn't have much time to register what was happening around them as they were struck by problems in quick succession ...like Dev's Fraud, then Geet's rebellion in support of Dev, then Maan's accusations then Geet's pregnancy, then again Geet's rebellion for the baby....and mind you all this happened in a few days....I'm not defending them or anything...What they did was extremely wrong....But think of where they are coming from...and for them If a girl's name is spoilt then finger is pointed at everyone in the family....and its really hard to survive in that kind of society....
So, I feel that Daarji asking for forgiveness from Geet is actually a very refreshing thing to see.
And also as a footnote I would like to add I too would have preferred Geet's Papaji instead of Daarji š
