Yes, Arpi. It was Kayamath and the (in)famous 'Prachi is Mom' track. I never thought that they will really go through with that highly illogical track but they did and it was also the highest trp grosser track at the time with trps going over 4. So I guess people like us who want logic are in a minority.

Apparently I never watched it. It just happened that one of it's actress replaced the lead of ajnabi serial , tab forum ke friends me feed in and suggested to watch few milind prachi scenes. that is all

So you were a follower of ajnabi? The hero, Siddharth Shukla used to live in the colony I lived in and is a handsome dude in person, much better than how he looks in the show but he really could not act. Yes, Sanjeeda joined the show but she was not half as good as she was in Kayamath where her performance was on par with Shabbir and sometimes even better.
