I have a few comments about Maneet.

As manasi said,

Yes they are different and the essence and the magic of the relationship is that the love they have has a base that is different from others. It is their lives' troubles and trials that have made them what they are today and there is some common denominator in their pasts that binds them together so strongly. MSK right now only confides in Geet and opens up to her only. with others whether office peopel (strangers) or family (blood relations) he is reserved, which probably is the reason why today MSK sat so still outside because he cannot share anything with just anyone, he does not show his emotions to anyone.

Which is why its about time his past is told to the viewers, because it has a great influence on the character's present. This will garner more interest and much coveted TRPs.

His outburst at Geet following the breakfast scene last week had me thinking about his past. Its not just about some girl flirting with him and ditching him. it goes beyond that, something that has made him put a distance between him and ALL others. It has something to do with parents, over expectation from the oldest child perhaps where parents and granparents tend to overlook the emotional needs and insist on good behaviour, family name, looking out for younger siblings. for example, for Dev's misconducts MSK was not at all interested in having him in the haveli but Dadi insisted caring nothing for what he wanted. He is the one getting others out of trouble and he gets to face Dadi's anger at not calling dev back into the haveli. then after Dev got arrested Dadi didnt think about his pain and anguish but wanted to see Dev so had him out temporarily. This is perhaps how his feelings have been overlooked making him wary of people. Uptil now we havent seen him with friends either, so practically Geet is the only friend he has.

Given today's blooper I think CVs should start working on MSK's story of the past from now so they have a gem of a plot ready to be dished out to viewers waiting for some boombastic story.
