The dance is quite significant in Maaneet's relationship....so passionate...no words are required and yet so meaningful .....

Anju, You are so right. They have a language of their own which does not need any words.

Completely Agreed to every word you said!
I for one don't want to (like many of us) compare Kurbaan Hua to Mahi Mahi. They are just two completely different dances for two completely different reasons. As you said the prior is to let out the anger and infatuation while the latter for so much more: Desire, Passion, Pain, Desperation, Loneliness, Togetherness, Hope, and the list just goes on!
I also just adored the dance for the way it was used to emote different feelings through every dance step...even when they weren't dancing and contemplating..such as Geet breaking away for a few seconds...it portrayed so much emotion and let us know what exactly she was feeling...and to be honest that was my favourite part!
I honestly just can't say for words how much of a churning feeling I had in me while watching the dance... it gave me MAJOR butterflies!
And of course all that was possible because of our Gurti! Their acting is splendid! <3 Love them!

Yes I think it is this dance was flooded with raw emotions.. He wanted to tell her that she belonged to him and she is his... She wanted to be in his arms but her nearness may inflict more pain to her beloved.
He wanted to take away the pain and wipe away her tears and she wanted to protect him from the hurt... For her he was her life and she wanted to cling to him to be with him forever but was afraid of causing some more pain to one she loved the most.
The emotions of passion and pain was beautifully portrayed by Gurmeet and Drashti.. with each stroke and each body movement... Such a sensual dance but with such a raw emotions.. Just too beautiful for words... They are such a talented and fantastic actors.. they can express with their eyes and with their facial expressions..

👏👏👏

You explained it so beautifully, and Yes, GC and DD are excellent actors. They bring out the best in Maan and Geet.

👏👏

brilliant take!!!! love it love it!!! You write very well.....nicly written and expressed!!!

Thanks Shivu. I have already seen your reaction for the dance on 3I thread. Of course, my words can never match the emote icons you put in your take. For me also, this will definitely remain one of the most memorable moments in Maaneet's story just like KH.

Too bad the director and the editors can never do as much justice in the limited 20 min air time that they are confined to.

Thank you for liking it so much dear. We do have more time and leisure to express our words than the director/editors have to picture them.

I am glad I wrote it and hope it was worth the wait for you. The new promo seems to indicate that he does mend the relationship between Annie and Geet.

You explained it well. It gave me butterflies too. It has been so many days after which I again felt like watching the episode again and again. My thirst is still not quenched. I can go on watching it for so much more time. Each time I see it I see and understand something new. It is just an out of the world experience.
