hey girls...its my shot at the discussion of the week...so here it goes...
so with Annie and Arjun's entry last week...we are now gonna see the story line focusing on a brother-sister relationship...be it Maan and Anne or Arjun and NT...
dont know about you guys...but...i have only one younger brother...hes 19...sophomore in college...he's been the bane of my existence since he was born in 91...he was the little runt that took all my parents attention away from me...he was the little runt that was fawned over by all the women in our family and community...he was the annoying kid who broke my toys...the one who put gum in my hair...the one who did crap and i got in trouble...he was the one that i had to DO homework for because he was too lazy...he's the one that got int trouble at school and called me to bail his ass out...he's the one that argues with me more often than not...he's the one that knows what buttons to push and infuriate me...yup...hes the one...i told him he was adopted...he was unwanted...you name it i said it...lol...he's a pain in my butt and i hate him most of the time...
but...he's also the one that saves me chocolate cuz he knows i love it...he has my back when mom and dad are on me about something...he supports me in life...he watches out for me...he worries about me...he takes care of me...and these are the times i love him...
basically...love him or hate him...he's my brother...and if anyone hurts him...oh hell no! they have to deal with me...if anyone is unfair to him...you can expect a call from me...just ask his teachers...lol...i can say and do what i want but no one else can...not even mom and dad! thats how it was, thats how it is and thats how its gonna be! *HMPH*...
this brings me to my discussion topic...
Brothers & Sisters
love em or hate em...they are an important part of our lives...lets say you are a sibling...your brother or sister comes with a sob story about how they were wronged...about how they were hurt...your natural instinct is to get back at the people that made your brother or sister cry...right? which is what Arjun is gonna do...so if you were in the situation...would you simply go on what your sister/brother told you...or would you try to find out the other parties version...as they say...every coin has two faces...every situation has two stories...would you find out or just react as expected..
lets be honest...not everyone would be MSK and throw their brother in jail no matter much they deserved it...could you? dont say 'yes of course!' because its the right thing to do...its what should be done because those are the rules that society dictates...but think about it really...if your brother or sister commits a crime...would you turn them in? if you were in Maan or Arjun's shoes (once he finds out about what NT did)...what would you do...call the police to see that justice is served...or try and protect your sibling which is natural instinct...
its always been you (siblings) against the parents and against the world? would you turn your back on that to do what was right?
hmm...serious enough for you guys...ha ha...cant wait to see your thoughts
