"Sari sangat nu binti hai, ke langar shuru hogaye ji. Aake shakan di kripa karoji."
I follow rest of the crowd towards the langar room but before I can, I'm stopped by some very filthy minded men.
"Oh mohrni ji. Ki gal hai? Hai?" Four very disgusting, cheap men came up to me. "Raasta kahan bhool gaye, soniyo?" The guy talking right now, made me want to laugh. He looks like a complete joker!
"Han. Oh ji mein kya, sanu das do." A guy wearing a salmon colored kurta says to me while dropping the green colored toy he was holding. He claps his hands twice, then says, "Hum chod aate hai aap ko." They all laugh together.
Now, I have to admit; I am scared. And I mean really scared. Everyone else are leaving and there is no sight of my family.
Scared, I manage to say, "Dekhiye."
"Han." The joker behind me says.
"Aap log mujhse door rahiye. Varna mein apne veerji ko bata doongi." I try to make them scared, so that they will leave me alone.
"Oh!" They say in unison and jump one step back.
"Veerji." A guy in a black kurta says.
"Kya baat hai." A guy in purple says.
Taking a chance, I run away from there before things can get any worse. I can hear them laughing behind me, but I try to keep them out of my mind, as I head on over to my family and get some help. I get shocked, when I can't see a single person of my own. People walk by as I stand there rooted to the spot, wondering as to where my family disappeared to.
"Ma." I say out loud. "Papaji. Sab log kaha chale ge?" I express my worries out loud. I run towards the spot where two cars were parked; one my families' and the other my, would to be in-laws. I stand there, looking around for any sign of them, but I can't seem to find one. Anxiety and a sudden rush of apprehension engulf me, as I've never been left behind before without any source of contact. I've especially never been left behind in a carnival. I was just about to break down and cry, when a red handkerchief flashes before my eyes, and stops me.
All of a sudden, I'm given a new reason to be scared.
"Madam." The guy wearing purple says. "Yeh rumaal kya aap ka hai?" He asks me, knowing exactly what my plight is. "Ab aap kya karogi?" He asks me while circling around me.
I was about to run forward, when the joker comes in my way. "Yeh kya mohrni ji? Humare hote hue, aap ke aankho mein aansoon. Han. Iss din dekhne se pehle mein mar kyun ni gaya?" He says mockingly.
I walk away from him, looking for another exit, when I'm stopped by another guy wearing the salmon kurta. "Are, are, are. Are madam mohrni, humhe ek baat batao. Kahin aap ko Olympic ki race mein bhag ne ka shok toh nayi? Zara zara si baat pe bhag leti ho." He jokes making the other guys laugh.
I feel so helpless when they start laughing at me. I wish I was stronger so that I can do something about this situation. They all make faces at me, to see what my reaction would be, but all I do is stand there and cry. I slowly take a few steps back so that I can clear myself a way to run from. As soon, as I get a chance, I start running from there. I can hear them closely behind my foot, but I try not to turn around too often. I clutch onto my Tabeez, not wanting to lose it. I run as fast as my legs could run, but to my dismay, it doesn't seem fast enough. I keep making sharp turns, trying to lose them, but I just simply can't. I turn around and see them a few yards behind me. I look forward again and see someone coming towards my way. Not caring about anything else I run towards him; knowing that he will help me. He will help me escape from these rogues and take me back to my home.
