So here we are, after all the drama, Geet is once again where she started - yet another marriage that has about as much legal sanction as the other one!

Looking at all the posts on the SBS, seems to me as if keeping Geet in this no man's land is yet another ploy by the CVs to drag on the story.

I'll kill them if they do that to Geet, she's suffered enough.

What an awful state to be. She's as vulnerable as she's always been. So while I know MSK, being from another divine planet, will not let her down, I can't help but notice the parallels.

And I hope when things are calmer they realise how essential it is to have their marriage at least registered and get it done. The big fat wedding can come later. Right now I think Geet is owed a legal sanction to her relationship.

I am truly happy that they are together now, and it is great to see our lovely couple so in love. Frankly, I'm also relieved to see our dear scatty-brained Geet hasn't got into a strop about her maang being bharoed without prior consent.

I so wish, Maan had organised a civil marriage on the quiet and bullied her into it rather than dashing into this khoon se maang bharoing drama as a response to NT's taunt that Geet has no name to give her child.
And that taunt from NT- how much more we'd have appreciated the show if it had taken it's rather bold (by Indian standards) approach that one step further and allowed Geet to question NT's rather retrograde question about illegitimacy by asserting the fact that a woman can give her child her name and there is no shame in not having a father's name.
The rest of the world has moved on and and legitimacy has stopped being an issue, I wish India too moved in with the times and respected womens' choices.
Being a good parent has nothing to do with legitimacy or even marriage.
As of the now, once again we have the same old messages rammed down our throats-
A woman must have a man to protect her.
Only a father's name will give a child's life sanctity and legality.

On her ligher note:
Geet and Maan darlings, did your moms not teach you to brush your teeth before going to bed? And about changing into clean night clothes?
And Geet dear you need to get off all the make up and mascara, it's going to ruin you peaches and cream complexion.
Well, I can understand about the not changing because her clothes were at Meera's, but no, not really, because Maan, the chivalrous could have lent her one of his shirts!

i agree...bcos anyway geet was going to do that only...had she not met maan and had he not fallen in love with her, what would she have done????she would have been a bin vivah mother, a single mother, whose name would she then give the baby??? she was ready to face all that when she cut all the connections with her family for the sake of the child and was ready to give birth to the child...she should have boldly replied to nt instead of living upto her reputation of just standing there and crying...i expected geet to be more stronger than that...

Hi Murl...What a sensible post dear...I totally agree with your points. Maan should take steps to legalize their marriage...This is very important. He was ready to give his 51! to her as co-heir...He is smart and intelligent I think he will definitely look into this matter.
About the male dependency issue...well had not Maan be in Geet's life I would have given my vote for a totally independent Geet but with a person such as Maan on her side I would love to see Geet walking alongside Maan. Her reliance on him is much appreciated and she will prove it that she can deal with NT without Maan's interferance. What Maan did was to take control of the situation ...How long he could have seen NT hurting Maan so being an authoritative by nature he tried to put an end to all the nonsense.

On her ligher note:

🤣 I miss such lighter moments now a days....though I wished she atleast could have washed blood stains before going to bed....Don't U think its unhygienic.🤣

Hi ! Whitepearl,
good to see you reply. Yes, I agree Maan did right by taking control of the situation and he does admit that he should have dobne it sooner. So hopefully he will get his act together and sort out the legal status of the relationship. The rest can wait and as you so rightly and eloquently have put it in your earlier post- we don't need to have a consummation.
You know I'm appalled by the way some members of the forum are literally baying for what they are eupheumistically calling the 'deed'. What do they want - a Pxxx show? All these raging hormones on the forum, HA!
I know , I so miss the lighter moments. I was watching some of the episodes in August and September - they wwere so beautiful, funny, witty and intelligent and yet managed to pull at our heart strings so pignantly. I really miss the spirit of those fabulous episodes.

Hi murlal u r right, what a sensible post.If Geet would have answered to NT boldly i would have been nice and the title Geet and her character would have been better justified.
Anyway happy for maan and geet.
