Story Synopsis:

This is a story about a cab driver and a socialite.
The story tells you of how an accidental meeting in the streets of Mumbai starts the Chase.
More importantly the story is a about a girl who has achieved her dreams, and about a man who she helps to achieve his dreams.

The story is a comedy and a drama about 2 people who are so alike and yet so different from each other that they can't help but gravitate.

Dev Khurana = first cousin of Maan (their fathers are brothers; Maan dad is eldest son of family); potential love rival

Chapter 1:

It was close to 1am in the morning. The streets were still running with cars, taxis, bikes. Some people making their way home after a pleasant Saturday evening out and some were on their way to just getting their evenings started.
Among the still running traffic of the Mumbai streets, a jeep was making its way through the crowd. On the outside, it bore no marks to a Taxi, no marks that marked it as a commercial vehicle other than the Dame printed in black letters on its left rear door and the number printed below it.
The car had just finished dropping off the last of its passenger and was making its way home. She could not wait to get home and relax with her sister. Usually her shifts did not last long expect for on Saturday and Sunday nights. Thankfully, she only worked every other weekend.
The car was reverberating with the beats of smooth jazz music. Usually she wished for more upbeat tracks but today, after the headache she had built up with the last passengers, a group of girls making their way to a night club, she had opted for the smoother jazzy tones.
Weaving her way back towards her house, she was moving through clumps of heavy traffic and dead spots in her haste to make her way back home. As she moved away from the heart of the city, the traffic was trickling down.
As she takes a turn onto another street, she is greeted by the site of a car stopped on the side of the road, with the driver standing under the open bonnet which was smoking, and an elder lady standing leaning against the passenger door.
She is torn between the want to help and the want to get home. From the looks of it, the lady looked well off and surely someone must be on their way to pick her up, but on the other hand, no matter how good this particular neighborhood was, it was still past midnight in the streets of Mumbai. Not exactly a good time for anyone to have care troubles, especially not someone who looked like they were wearing a few lakh worth of jewelry.
As she is debating this in her mind, she had already driven past the stranded car. Making up her mind, she turns around and comes up near the car. Rolling down the window, she peers out to the lady, waiting to get her attention. "Auntijie, can i help you?" she calls out when she finally catches the ladies eye and is smiled at.
