@Niki - Hello! well isn't it obvious? They are showing this side of Maan to bring out the cause behind it. Maan has always been like this...but today was the heights because he loves Geet so much, he loses control sometimes negatively and sometimes positively. This is the 2nd time a girl has hurt him. Th cv's are thinking along these lines.

I'm not sure if Maan is going to realise it so soon... Itne saalon ki jami dhool ko nikaalne time lagega.... achnak bulb will not glow... though the slap will have an affect.... a while ago he said Geet tum to sabse alag thi phir kya hua.... now he'll realize that she is still alag....😃

The bottom line is they BOTH need to apologize to each other, because they created the mess together. Maan for being a jerk instead of talking to her and Geet for not believing in him. Its not about the slap or the man handling....its about building their relationship for the better from now on. This is a lesson for them. They will know each other better after this.

I don't think Maan will realise his mistake straight away after the slap, then depending on what Geet does next he may get realisation in that episode otherwise it will be much later

This is now at its peak...They are both at equal now...Now they need to take it from the top and restart everything...this time focusing more on understanding each other and showing respect! And most importantly accepting the "love" for each other!!
This way the relationship will be more balanced and healthy!!
MAAN needs to Repent for being such a JERK and Geet needs to apologize for misunderstanding him in the first place..they need to talk this out thoroughly..only then a base of a new and improved relation can start!!

I also think that Geet will not leave his side... may be tomorrow she may just collapse on the floor crying.... dunno what u all think...

Geet realized that Maan is weak, I do not think she has realized that he was hurt in the past in similar manner (referring to dadi -geet convo on diwali) but she sees this aspect of his that he is going to break down once he really assess what he has done....in past she had stopped Maan from hitting Dev.... out of that same concern she will stay.... if the selfless love was there then it'll come out again....
