Simply, the thappad might be coz Maan wanted to satisfied his ego, ke why Geet left me, he would lie, to Geet, I am a rich, why would I look at someone like u, I would only be with u for few days, do u think I would marry u? Etc, he loves her, but being Maan the khados he doesn't admit it, as Geet refused to marry him, this results on Geet hurt and much more thappad, lolzzzzzzzzzzz =))
