Dev saw the transparent Sari, his natural instincts kicked in, he thought today is the day, I have good chance, Meera is all wet and so am I, he hadn't had any food in the jail so he faints for a couple of mins to conserve energy, Meera gives him some support, so he doesn't even need to wait for her come to him, she came herself and once he awakes he is ready for action
