To be fair to kudi remember she comes with emotional baggage of the whole family honor deal.

Her family was so mean to her because of the family honor nonsense. They got her married and then forced her to remove all the nishanis when they discovered it was fake. She went almost mad. Then they tried to kill her when they discovered she was pregnant. They did all this attyachar in the name of family honor.

This whole Dev coming out of jail episode has reopened all these deep wounds 😭 that never completely healed in the first place 😭

She saw that history was being repeated - that she was again being sacrificed on the altar of family honor and she was not willing to let that happen. 😡
