Yes..i love Maaneet....crazily...dont we all...😉.

But since the last couple of days...especially since Jay's exit....i have been thinking that how much and how far can only two actors pull a show...isn't this too much burden to carry..Maan and Geet...gurmeet n drashti...are only these two responsible for running this show n garnering TRPs....dont they deserve any help or support or breaks in the form of other story lines, other characters that can be focused on...parallel issues that can take front seat sometimes....and other gripping angles and characters whether romantic or comic or tragic or even dramatic...

Even in the past we have seen things going downhill at breakneck speed when one of the leads was unable to shoot due to unavoidable circumstances...from the actors point of view this is totally uncalled for...

And as the far as the story line goes....this kind of one pair track eventually only leads to weird twists n unpalatable turns...coz to keep the story going they will have to just reunite n then seperate n then reunite n then seperate....god forbid!!

Geet in this case is really unique coz compared to other shows ...it has very few characters and the stroy only revolves around Maan n Geet...how long can a love story involving the same two characters be kept interesting...how long can a tale of romance about two people stay gripping...how many twists or turns or convulations or combinations will you introduce for the show to go on....if there are only two characters and a love story...one fine day ...it will be faced with dead end...coz there is a limit to dramatic turns too...

This show is unique..and we love it for that reason....though lately have felt that in order to maintain its high standards of fast paced story line...the cvs will have to look around...i know Maaneet means high TRPs...but they will have to experiment n deviate in the long run...

agreed.. there has to be parallel tracks and other well etched characters besides the two main leads who will help run the show and keep the interest alive... i don't understand why they let yash go... yash and meera could have been very interesting... and even the present existing characters should be given more dimensions like adi, pinky, daadima, sasha, tasha and the like.. all these are good actors who can do a lot for the show if given a chance..

the issue here is that cvs have struck gold with Maaneet chemistry...and so they have not even exploited other angles or characters...which will increase their own problems in the future..😕

@Eveline & Kunatanya : I totally agree with u guys...Good post , eveline.👍🏼.. yes they should have developed the Yash-Meera love story track more thereby making them an integral part of Maan & Geet's love story.😊....But since the MAANEET chemistry☺️ is the selling point of the show....the CVs were maybe trying to avoid the division of screen space between 2 parallel couples....But yes they should include other characters already in the show a lil bit more like pinki, adi sir- gr8 friend of Geet & loyal advisor/friend for Maan....Well dekho aage aage kya hota hai..😉.these CVs alsways keep on surprising us....😊

totally agree with you, i am sure the cv people will introduce other characters who wont be just for a small period, but stay longer and have some story.

I am hoping that in future we will see some parallel tracks too where good actors are properly utilised..and i absolutely trust the Geet cvs...so know the show is in good hands..but cant help my vishesh tippani😆!!

yep! It's true! the show suffers when the leads aren't able to shoot...there should be a parallel pair! Maybe they should have played out the meera-yash track!
