I agree with you about the apprenhension thing...he is afraid to be proven wrong that she doesnt need him to survive....and i m pretty sure he would try to make it difficult for her...but his feelings and love will come in the way of him proving her wrong....he himself wouldnt be able to control the tenderness the love she ignites in him.
he always likes to think that he is in control....which he is in most situations...but when it comes to Geet...he just cant help himself.....his reactions are not in his control at all....his careful planning and aloofness go for a toss and so it will be again this time...no matter how much they try to stay away from each other....they are destined to be together and they will be whether they like it or not.
