Lols, other than the look though, Guru was actually very sweet in PPAW.😳 I agree that he looked like a 30 year old dad (please don't throw eggs on me!😆), but we saw a whole new side of him that not many fans knew of in his Ramayan days. During Ramayan shooting, Guru always sounded so shy and reserved in interviews, that we thought maybe he did not like his fans or something😆, but then we found out that he was just uncomfortable with all the fandom he was suddenly getting as Ramji. Young children touched his and Debina's feet because they were under the illusion that they were really Ram and Sita, and even random old ladies off the streets came and hugged them both whenever they saw them walking in a shopping center. I remember it came in the news once that an 80 year old lady started crying when she saw Gurmeet, and when Guru asked her why she was crying, she told him that she felt veryyyy bad for him because Sita Ma had been kidnapped by Ravan and she could understand his pain. This happened during the shooting of Sita Haran when Ram and Lakshman (Gurmeet and Ankit) were searching for Sita through the forests after she'd been kidnapped, and Guru was very touched and uncomfortable at the same time.😳😳
So yes, to get rid of this image as Ramji (since it hindered many mytho actors' careers in the past), I think Guru tried something new with PPAW in terms of looks😆, but I watched the show only for Gurmina and also for the way they interacted with each other. Debina was really pretty, and even Guru was not that bad-looking, just not that good-looking either.😆 And then when he started Geet, he wrote in an interview that he wanted to try another look, and I'm guessing fans like this one.😉
Lols, in his next show, I wonder if Guru will try out yet another look?😕 He should stick with one.😆
Hmm, have not been seeing Geet lately so dunno how to answer your question.😳 Maybe directors are trying to speed up the events to get Geet-Maan's marriage done? Maybe then the story will slow down. Don't know where this serial's headed though...what do they plan to do in terms of conflict once Dev and NT go to jail?
