I maintain my stance that Dev is a selfish soul... During the HP seq n starting of the delhi seq, Dev was not that found of maan... In canada, he was shown to be apprehensive of maan from childhood... So abhi achanak bro ke liya pyaar kaha se aaya???

Dev did not go looking for geet..He accidentally saw her....

Even now he is trying to save his pathetic ass by behaving all guilty.... All his guilt surfaced only after he came to know that Geet is maan's sec... Dev knows maan well enough to know wat maan will n can do to him.... He is repenting to redeem himself in his bro's eyes... He very well knows that he cannot hid his deeds for longer...Feeling sorry n repenting might earn his lesser punishment n respite....

hi sun....

the baby never effected dev...cause he just dont cares / never had feelings for geet...it just his guilt which was haunting him...nothing more....he was ready to pay for his crime...and by doing that ...case is closed....baby doesn't holds any value...

but for dadi and maan the baby will be important...dadi to see her ghar ki chiraag in house...for maan cauze it a part off geet....

geet will be at yash side cauze she will fulfill her promise....
