That is an interesting idea. If they want to keep his workload light they could show him unconscious in an hospital bed.

I really don't want to believe this prediction but I can't help but think a lot of what you said makes sense and the show may head in this direction. :S

CV's always surprise us though so we just gotta wait and see and as the story progresses we'll get a better idea of what to expect.
