We are not kids we understand that due to time constraints you cannot air all the footage you have shot and that editing is crucial, but when editing takes away the essence of the story you have lost the viewer....

There is a reason why awards are also given out for editing along with acting, script writing and directing, because it is in editing where a piece is made or broken.

You are creating a story here pulling the viewer into the World of Fantasy'Geet is an awesome show and due to unsound editing for the last few weeks it has lost the plot'for month you gave us the build up to Maan and Geet confessing their love to each other, the truth revelation and ultimately their commitment to each other'

However we were let down completely. Shattered is as close as I can describe our disposition during the last two weeks'the truth gets revealed and no contemplation on Geet's words by Maan, just hurry hurry like he was literally going to miss his train. Maan declares his love for Geet at the train station and no self-talk on Geet's part. No wait, you did give us self-talk, one line "does my past really not matter to him?" That was laughable, what about her asking whether he was doing it out of pity or guilt, or if he was more concerned about Dadi? What about Maan feeling elation and talking to himself about how lucky he was that Geet had missed the train and that she was back in his life? Why didn't Geet look for the Taveez in her bag, since that was the sole reason she missed her train for?

Another fine example of your unsound editing, yesterday how did Maan loose Geet in a tiny market and Geet end up in the middle of a crowd. Is Maan Singh Khurana's grip so fragile and loose that Geet's hand slipped out. I hope not, else just as slowly he got Geet, that's how fast he will lose her, and I mean literally lose her.

There is a reason why you have a daily show so that you can show the viewers the proper development of the story. There is a reason why there is a difference between reel time and real time, so that you can show the events of one day taking place during a few episodes, so the question remains why have you been rushing one of the most important moments of the show and editing parts that are crucial to the story line, leaving viewers asking questions regarding the story.

In conclusion editing's main purpose is to construct a story not destroy it, when done well it will leave the viewers spell bound, if not you will soon lose viewers who have been loyally following the show, then not only will you have a crappy show but also low TRPs..Congratulations you will have achieved your goal of instant success and instant failure.
