Maan who is an immensely private person is ready to bare his soul in front of the world and accept his mistake- He said sorry in a crowd.. He is arrogant and haughty-- Here we see that he is humbled in love and its a declaration in front of the world.

So this is the 2nd phase of confession. He has publicly acknowledged his feelings for her and accepted her as she is!!

About the intensity lacking - Sorry I disagree.. I felt the intensity was banked today on purpose.. Like Doc said the way his hands lingered - showed the contraint he was exerting. He knew he was in a public place.. But for him making her understand was paramount. Today - more than passion, there was this desparation to make her undersand and stop her from vanishing from his life, there was anguish, anxiety, apprehension and above all - LOVE... I felt Gurmeet portrayed the myriad emotions flowing through Maan beautifully..

Now coming to people ogling in the station and saying completely unnecessary - It is the society..People are always curious what is happening in the others house -

MSK does not care what the world says - He has told that numerous times.. But also he is a man for whom decorum is important.. But since 2 epis what they are showing is - for MAAN- Geet is more important than his honor, his family name, his so called rigid values.. MSK who wishes to have perfect attire in office was running beserk just because of Geet.

The apology , the diags needed to be subtle and without a hint of aggression because she is deeply hurt. This is what she expected in the conference room..

Yes - there was a public declaration in office - but it was not heartfelt. It was a display for the benefit of others.. Here it was solely for the beholder of his heart. For me , it symbolized that he ddnt care about the world. He proudly wears his heart out for her because she is all that matters.. But he knows she is a person who worries about society.. So this display is to assuage her qualms too that he means business..
