For those online:-
"The Moment - Maan's Parineeta Geet" - Part XVIII ā Kindred Souls
Yelloooo all my Friends, Devils, CVs, Star, Mr. Mirchandani and Nissar. Sawiee as I am late today. Have some important assignments on hand so will be little tomorrow and next week also in posting my analysis. But will try to do it early. Don't be sad I will definitely write my analysis and maybe will be late. I am intending to make it short. But if it gets long while writing I promise you that I won't cut short. Whatever I will write will post it. Promise.
How are you doing today??? In Pathos??? Well I understand your situation. For the time today since I started watching Geet I had cried out loud. Yes I did. Not because of only Geet's traumatic past; not because of Maan's probable reaction but because of those women and girls who had faced these situations in real life. This is a series and we watch it in a sugar coatedcoated package but think about those women who didn't have a savior like MSK and have had to deal through the pain all alone. I salute the PH and Channel who has brought forth this issue in open and helped all of us to be aware of this and so that tomorrow India as a Nation can take action against such heinous occurrences.
Yes here I would like to state the facts regarding this issue which Sandipa had sent me.
There are thousands of fake weddings involving Indians and Canadians every year. Nearly two in every 10 NRI marriages are fake! At the Grand Taj banquet hall in Surrey, B.C., earlier this month (approx. one year back), and more than 300 concerned citizens voiced their anger over the growing issue of marital fraud in the Indo-Canadian community.
Fake marriages among Indo-Canadians and Indians is "an industry" and the Canadian government is seriously considering legislative and administrative measures to curb this menace as per a senior minister. "There's always money involved in this at some point. It's an industry in reality" quoted by Canadian Immigration Minister Jason Kenney. However, once the spouses are in Canada, it is difficult, if not impossible, to prove that fraud occurred as per the Minister.
"There is need to create awareness in Indians who wish to immigrate about all these issues. The Indian government till now has not been very proactive. "I agree... something has to be done to prevent this exploitation. Not only of individuals, but of our broader immigration system," Kenney said. NRIs established "The Canadian Marriage Fraud Victims Force Society". He said the government is considering suggestions from advocates of victims who want Canada to adopt a probation period for spouses arriving from other countries.
Here are around 30,000 to 35,000 fraudulent NRI marriages in India. Surprisingly the grave digit of more than 15,000 encompasses Punjab alone. Still the state departments and central departments are not playing the role of active deterrent on this matter.
Result of which the victims still wonder pillar to post for justice. We need to create awareness among girls about NRI Marriages. My heart really cried out for them and that is why I get myself involved in this series and try to do the contribute in making this series a Masterpiece so that the message that 4 Lions, Star One and Nissar and Co. wanted to put forward to the people of India and Asians can be delivered and action been taken against it.
Well Nissar here there is one issue that I need to talk about. Yes, I have ssen the news that the politicos are throwing towards you and us. After reading that news I felt to give a tight slap on their faces on behalf of you. But all I would like to say is don't back off in what you are doing. Me and all of us are with you. You know this quote of Shiv Khera???
"Winners don't do different thingsā¦.they do things differently".
Do you know how true that is??? Just look at all of your woeks at Geet and see the reaction of people who admire your work and also who are jealous of your work. You know why people try to show you down??? Its because they cannot match up with your level and your thinking. We live in a society where there are schizophrenic people than normal people. You know why??? Because there are people who accept movies like Dostana and Love Aaj Kal and these same people who cannot accept series like Geet HSP that talks about social issues.
Let me be the spokesperson of Geet HSP here. I wanted to tell them who had started to raise their voice against showing certain scenes in series would like to tell them firsy the core issues of Geet HSP. But the vehicle here is Romance, Humor and Drama:-
1. The story is based on a social issue.
2. The main theme of the story is how a girl fights for certain rights overcoming the trauma that she faced at a very early age.
3. Another issue is focused here is whether girls in Indian society do really have a say in their own marriage?
4. The show has voiced on why there are still some places in India where only boys are been respected and not the girls?
5. Can girls really live their life on their own terms?
6. Is really an unmarried woman's child should be called illegitimate?
7. Can't pregnant women have love life and have sex?
Nissar and PH and Star has created a masterpiece here. They has ventured into a topic which nobody else has had the guts to. The fact that these political parties are talking about this is proof enough of that.
We need to understand certain facts that Geet has a complete perspective here. She was cheated by her "So Called" husband and she is the one who is not involved in extra marital affair. We all know what has happened to her but we have seen her stood up high and proved herself time and again that she is mentally strong. What that incorrigible ba****d had done with her is a heinous act. He didn't even given a secong look to her and left her alone to fight against the society. I have never seem such a society that is made of schizophrenic people. If the same thing would have happened to a boy tehn the whole society would have sympathized with him but since the victim is a girl so she has to carry all the hatred of the people. In eyes of law she is unmarried but in life she is pregnant! So where is it written that an unmarried pregnant woman can't pursue love, relationship or pleasure??? We just cannot compare Geet with any other shows here. It is much more matured and realistic and it deals with the intricacies of social stigma. As I have stated earlier the facts of Fake NRI Marriages that is still happening in most of the Asian Countries.
We are seeing Geet as a girl who is just 18 yrs. old and after all the trauma that she has faced in her life she has found her tru love for the first time and she has no one beside her as she was been disowned by everybody of no mistake of hers. She has all the rights to be happy and pursue her life according to her own terms. Why not??? When her man can accept her with all her problems then who the hell the society is to tell her what to do and what not to do??? Did the society forget that we are a democratic country and everyone is entitled here to put forward their judgments? Hence, Nissar just do what you are doing and don't even bother to think of answering your perspective to any policos or any organizations when you are doing nothing wrong here. They know that you are trying to put up a social message here. As I said earlier that the vehicle is Romance and Drama because that is how cinematography works. You cannot show the same without Romance and Drama as then it would look like documentary and the reach will be much lesser here. We nend to put forward this message to a wide reach of audience to all the classes and masses and also in India and Abroad so much so that people are aware of the seriousness of this issue and can tale action against it. Remember whatever has happened in the past we may not help the women involved to byond a certain extent but we can definitely prevent it happen to any new girls. Makers of series and films always chose romance as onr of the vehicles because this is the vehicle that everytone can relate to. This is the medium they understand and admire. So curbing the appeal of the show makes no sense because u all don't have to cater to some section of a mass, mind u its not the entire population.
Just remember as I told you that be a trendsetter and let others follow your footsteps. You just don't follow thriers and don't even think of compromising your thoughts to against their illogical tantrums. Show them that you have the guts to portray this SOCIAL MESSAGE and ISSUE on a mature level. If shunning physical relationship was so bad then India today wouldn't be the 1st largest Democracy of the world having more than a Billion Population.; and when we are talking about Democracy then there must be right to the freedom of Press & Media as well, right?? Then how can any Party or Organization intervene in the creative work that is the end result or product of your hardwork??
Think about the TRPS here Nissar. If the Classes and the Masses wouldn't have approved this Series then Geet HSP wouldn't have been the Numero Uno Series of Star One. Just do whatever you are doing as of now and show them that what aever you are portraying here is nothing indecent and immoral for them to cry out loud or else the viewers of India wouldn't have made this Series to the top of Star One.
Infact it is the duty of the show-makers, producers, channels to uphold social issues to the entire world through such a powerful platform so that the people get aware of such incongruous subject happening around them. So that tomorrow India as a nation can take action against such heinous occurrences. And if you don't uphold this then who will? And in conveying this message if you don't incorporate the essence of the show which is Romance then how will the audience like it? Sans romance the show will look like a documentary instead of a series. Entertainment is a very powerful word & to showcase issues u have to sugar wrap it to look appealing & that is exactly what you are doing.
So keep doing what you are doing. We are with you and you should go ahead and follow your heart. Rest leave it to the viewers and last but not the least to the Almighty Himself. Success will automatically follow you. Just ignore those hardles and overcome them. Period.
If you want to answer them then I am here. If you want to publish this answer to them then go ahead. I am giving you the authority to publish this and I am taking the responsibility of what I have writtem here.
Hmmm. Now let us come to the title:-
"The Moment - Maan's Parineeta Geet"ā Kindred Souls
It was a nice episode and many thought the "ING" thing was not there. But I felt it was perfect. It delivered a perfect foundation for thr truth which will come our tomorrow and on Monday. Yes I agree the episode was sad and even I am also sad not because of the spi but because all the politicos made me sad. The episode had made us think what love is deep within. Yes their kindred souls had made us look into their heart and feel the pain that they were going through in this moment. But above all I loved to see how Geet was strong and today how her strength had come out seeing Maan in pain. Her love for him defined the strength of her character. Yes today Pooja reminded me of this particular saying:-
"Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage." By Lao Tzu
Well as I told you yesterday that when Maan said "I Hate You" then it had the shown the pain in his heart and it had a hidden meaning. But that is in literal sense and Maan wanted to say that he hates her because even though she had hurt her he cannot hurt her back. He hates that he loves her so much that after all what has happened he still thinks good about her. He still thinks he cannot let her live on her own.
Well Nissar for a moment I thought you might not repeat the Declaration scene of AR from DMG. I got so scared at that scene at first then when Maan walked away belive me I felt so relieved. Yes, I told you earlier that it was the BEST declaration of Love in tele industry in my opinion but I also said that I wanted Maan and Geet's to be above that. So, remember it and sketch the scene in such a way that there should not be any Loop Holes in the Scene Sketch. It has to be such that people remember it till ages. And I also told you not to mention any clicle "ILU" in the declaration scene. As I mentioned in my earlier analysis that there are so many ways to propose. But I wanted it to be dignified. And a man should give his woman that respect and dignity while proposing her. Oh. I would love to listen Maan saying "Can I be the Father of your baby"??? WOW. Just make sure sure don't make it cliche and DO NOT GOOF UP.
The office scene was good and Maan's wrath was justifiable. That is Maan Singh Khurana. Never realizes what he says or does. He does act with the emotions and he says that he has no emotions. Huh. Wel Sasha's tricked worked here. Btw, I am in no mood in bashing the Costume Designer here. Though I am so willing to for Tasha's Costume. But all my mood was gone in those Politicos' articles. Duh. So, bear with my analysis today.
To all those who might think that this was not needed well ask me. I will tell you why??? If this scene would not have been here then how come Geet could get Maan locked up in the Conference Room and how come Nissar could have completed the circle but getting Geet and Maan locked in the Conference Room and begin another chapter in Maan and Geet's Life. See, this was what was in Nissar's mind. Got it.
Yes, I loved Geet's plan here and how she trapped Maan and made him finally listen to her. Now, you all got the above quotation which I stated. Yes she couldn't see Maan's pain and that is when she decided to be bold and put forward her truth infront of him forcefully and let him decide for the future. Fantastic.Oh btw, I loved Geet's Hair do today. She was looking pretty.
Did I hear Sasha say Maan??? I think I heard it correct. Then she shited toi MSK again.
Now I have an issue with the Dupatta scene. I am in no mood to crititcize today as I know tomorrow is a very important episode and we are prepared for this. But I need to talk to Nissar here. When Maan had this feeling that Geet is near him and he came out of his office and walked towards the pillar and leaned himself, here I have the problem. Now Nissar just go back there and see it again not as a Director but as a Critic or a Viewer. See the camera angle here. It was so obvious that Maan knew that Geet was standing on the otherside of the wall. Look at the way he kept his hand on the wall beside Geet. What you should have done is you should have shown only Maan leaning against the pillar and then move the camera to show that Geet is also there. That would have been apt. to portray that the pain, the pathos, the pensive mood they are in. Then it would have been appropriate to show that they both are suffering from the same pain.
I loved it when Maan had tears in his eyes and he looked up to not let the tears flow down his face. I always do that when I am about cry in public. I look up to the sky and then try to keep the tears stya in the eyes only. Other than that this scene was really brilliant and I could sense Maan's pain , his helplessness, his anguish, his love, his pathos, his hurt everything.
Here I would like to warn you rather that DO NOT EVEN think of mixing Dev- Maira scenes in between Maan and Geet scenes tomorrow. If you do that then you will be so "VIRTUALLY DEAD". I just don't want any interruptions in between the truth disclosure scenes. Just remember that. Of you want you can start fit in their scenes in the beginning but not in the middle of the Lovebirds' Coinversation. Tomorrow is a big day for you and for us too. So, No GOOF UP.
I don't want any kind of goof up in Parineeta Metaphor. Just remember that. I know that Drashti will do a fantastic job and GC also. But tomorrow more tyhan drashti I am waiting to see how Gurmeet does. Because I want to see how he portrays as Maan after learning the truth about the trauma that his Ladylove had gone thriygh all these months and at this young age. I want to see the pain, anger, ruthlessness, avenge attitude everything and any adjective that I can think of. Tomorrow is the day for both Drashti and Gurmeet.
Just remember we are very close to the completion of Parineeta Metaphor and I don't want any Goof UPs. I hope all goes well here and Nissar and Co, do a fantastic job. Another Milestone to cross. The 5th Vachan, 6th Vachan and 7th Vachan are running in parallel and I don't want any kind of tracks in between. Maan and Geet have to accept each other without knowing the Dev's name here and then only we can prove that this Love is unconditional. And as I said earlier that it would be Maan and Maan himself who will find out the whole truth but that has to come after the completion of the Metaphor. Otherwise the unconditional love will not hold good here and similarly the "Union of Souls". So, the Completion of Parineeta Metaphor has to happen first and the only the Confrontation makes sense. Otherwise the main purpose of the Metaphor does not hold good at all. And if you Goof Up here then you will be "VIRTUALLY DEAD". Mind it.
Precap:- Do I need to explain??? It would be certainly my day tomorrow.
Overall a Logical episode and definitely laid the foundation for the unraveling of the truth.
Over to you all to join the discussion. Feel free to shoot me:-
